The migration of the European eel is an incredible story. It begins its life in
the Sargasso Sea, in the mid-Atlantic, in spring. The young eel then swims
slowly northeast and arrives off the coast of Europe after three years. Here
it becomes an adult eel and lives in the rivers and streams. It stays there
until the male is 8 to 14 years old and the female is 10 to 14 years old. It then
begins its long journey back to the Sargasso Sea. When it arrives there, it
produces its own young eels and the whole adventure begins again.

Hello, my name’s Fred. I’m a zoo keeper and I look after the animals in the zoo.
It is usually a good job, but I’m having a bad day today. I don’t usually help
in the restaurant or sell tickets – it’s not my job – but I am doing both today.
Normally, I clean the lions’ cage when I start work. Then I feed them. After that,
I feed the tigers and clean their cage. Then I feed the dolphins. Sometimes, I
