Note: The contractor should read the specifications thoroughly and quote the price for each item. The BOQ should read in-conjunction with
specification, drawing & equipment schedule. The cost shall include the cost of the material, transportation, taxes, duties, lifting, shifting,
storing, handling, installation, testing and commissioning.
The Chiller selection program shall be AHRI certified and the factory shall be equipped with an AHRI certified test bed. The Chiller selection
would be performed by the vendor in front of the Client & Consultants when called for by them. The Chiller selection will also have to be
validated with AHRI.
Noise level shall be maximum of 85dBA at 1.5m distance from the equipmment in all directions.
Ratings for vendor would also take into consideration the low noise level offered by vendors.
The Chiller vendor shall submit the detailed GA drawing of the chiller & accessories.
1 WATER COOLED CENTRIFUGAL MAGNETIC CHILLERS WITH VFD
Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Water-cooled Liquid chilling Units complete with centrifugal Magnetic compressors, water-
1.01 cooled condenser, evaporator & Unit mounted factory fitted VFD. (In case of multi-compressor chiller, each compressor should be VFD driven)

The compressor will be a Centrifugal type powered by open/ semi hermetic / fully hermatic electric motor with R-134a/R-514a Refrigerant and
1.02 drive motor suitable for 415V +/-15%, 3 phase, 50cps @ 45 deg C drive assembly, guard, etc. Appropriate Voltage regulator to be considered to
overcome power quality issues for magnetic bearing chillers
Water cooled condenser will be of the shell and tube type 2-pass, designed for 235 psig working pressure on the refrigerant side. Shell will be
fabricated from rolled carbon steel plate with fusion welded seams have carbon steel tube sheets, drilled and reamed to accommodate the
tubes; and intermediate tube supports spaced not more than four feet apart. The refrigerant side will be designed & tested in accordance with
applicable pressure vessel code. Tubes shall be high-efficiency, internally and externally enhanced type having plain copper lands at all
1.03 intermediate tube supports to provide maximum tube wall thickness at the support area. Each tube will be roller expanded into the tube
sheets providing a leak proof seal, and be individually replaceable. Water velocity through the tubes will not exceed 8 fps.

Insulation of the chiller using 40mm Armaflex or equivalent insulation and cladded with 26 G Aluminum sheets. If required additional acoustic

Chiller sequencing and operation should be designed in such a way that one chiller starts with minimum capacity initially and load to the

and agreed before implementation

per tender specification.The processor must be fitted with card for external communication for parameters in open protocol such as
1.08 Bacnet/Modbus.
Shall be equipped with the quick start feature of less than or equal to 120 seconds/ 100% Load.

Power and control hardware including unit disconnecting / isolating Switch, one point start-stop, protective MCCBs for electric motors, VFD,
Harmonics shall comply to IEEE 519, complete with drives with harmonic filter, suction and discharge shut off valves, automatic capacity

etc.,shall also include the Cabling from the surge protection panel to the chiller.

Chiller has to be supplied with Automatic Tube cleaning system (ATCS) with lowest pressure drop (<2ft) with necessary accessories as required
& called for ATCS.
Installation & Commissioning of ATCS with necessary piping, Valves, cabling from the panel & actuator. The ATCS shall be provided for each
1.10 chiller independently & shall be integrated to the CPO with necessary cabling, trunking & necessary accessories.

Grooved coupling shall be part of the Chiller Package. Painting of all components etc. Price should also includes integral refrigerant piping with
1.11 liquid isolation valves, and wiring, flow swtiches / sensors, accessories as required and called for, automatic and safety controls mounted in
central control panel and all mounted on a steel frame complete.
The bidder shall submit a computerized selection sheet of the chiller offered as obtained from the manufacturer along with their offer from the
latest AHRI listed software version. Non-submittal of the computerized selection sheet shall be liable for bid rejection. The cooler and
1.12 condenser shall have applicable pressure code vessel stamping on the nameplate as a standard, without which the machines will be rejected.

1.13 Surge protection assembly along with UPS for mangentic compressors.
1.14 All the chiller should be covered with Tarpaulin till the installation or handover
1.15 Spring type Vibration Isolators as per manufacturer standard supplied from the factory
1.16 The procurement shall be processed only after duly verification / approval of Efficiency of chiller & selection by Consultant.

processor, 1TB SATA HDD, Graphic card 1 GB, 16GB DDR4 RAM (Extendable to 32 GB), 64 bit compatible OS, 32 inch LCD display with user
Interface for commissioning & maintenance etc. (Refer attached CPO I/O summary for reference). Windows 11 Professional OS, MS Office, and
3 Symantec Antivirus Set 1
The price shall be inclusive of 2kva UPS, Battery, A4 size Laserjet Printer suitable for the application along with driver software, Required panel
& Cabling. (Inverter)
The detailed sequence of operations to be discussed and agreed before implementation

Factory inspection & fully assimilated load test to ensure full compliance with contract documents. The contactor shall allow for all cost for
attendance to enable factory tests to be witnessed by the employer & engineer. The contractor shall be responsible for all travel expenses of
4 the employer & engineer in witnessing factory test for the chillers. Charges for conducting performance test at manufacturer's factory for Lot 1
chillers in the presence of Client/Consultant / Client representative.

The Scope of arrangement of chiller Performance test shall be confirmed by Client

be adopted.
2. Necessary permissions from authorities to be taken by the contractor before lifting / shifting the chillers
3. Necessary Insurance for the workmen, material and third party liability.
