Sant Jordi Dragon

This little dragon is inspired by the legend of Sant Jordi, but unlike
the original, this is nothing terrible. With that little face, it is so
adorable that makes you want to hug him.

This pattern is a free adaptation of the Russian pattern designed by

Меджик.

HEAD-BODY

Round 1. Start with a magic ring, 6sc in the magic ring (6)
R2. (2sc in the next stitch), repeat 6 times. (12)
R3. (1sc, 2sc in the next stitch), repeat 6 times. (18)
R4. (2sc, 2sc in the next stitch), repeat 6 times. (24)
R5. (3sc, 2sc in the next stitch), repeat 6 times. (30)
R6. (4sc, 2sc in the next stitch), repeat 6 times. (36)
R7-8. 1 sc in each st around (36)
R9. Make only 24 sc (24)

Fold the previous piece, forming two parts, and join with st. One of
these parts is 24 stitches (that it will form the head) and the other 12
stitches (it will form the neck and body).

HEAD

ARMS (x2)

12 ch
In the 2nd ch from the hook, (3 dc, 1 sl st) repeat 3 times in the
same stitch to form the fingers.
Continue with the arm, making 10 sc.
Sew to the body.

LEGS (x2)

R1. Start with a magic ring, 6sc in the magic ring (6)
R2. (2sc in the next stitch), repeat 6 times. (12)
R3. (2sc in the next stitch, 1 sc), repeat 6 times. (18)

CREST

Crochet a chain of sigle crochet, multiple of 3, from the tip of the tail
to th head. Turn.
Make 2 ch, in 2nd ch from the hook make 3 dc in the same stitch, 1sl
st, skip next ch.
(4dc, 1 sl st, skip next ch) repeat to end.

WINGS (x2)

R1. Start with a magic ring, 6sc in the magic ring (6)
R2. (2sc in the next stitch), repeat 6 times. (12)
R3. (2sc in the next stitch, 1 sc), repeat 6 times. (18)
R4. (2sc in the next stitch, 2 sc), repeat 6 times. (24)

Fold the previous piece and fasten off with sc around, making a
semicircle of 12 stitches. Turn.
(Make 2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc, in the same stitch, 1sl st, skip next st), repeat
4 times.
Sew to both sides of the rear of the body.
