African Children’s Fund was founded in
2006 by Dee and Peter Tyrer to support local initiatives to benefit under-served children. The projects we support are run by local staff who are committed to - and know the needs of - their own communities. Africa's children need an education if Africa is to prosper. That is why we focus on giving children what they need to get that education which in turn gives them hope for a bright future. Face for Africa
FACE for Africa we roll up sleeves and get our
hands involved in the practical work. Our project will involve utilizing local materials, local labour and talent; ownership is transferred to the communities upon completion. More importantly, we focus on elevating Education for All by forming long- lasting, collaborative relationship with communities and local administration. We work with communities to co-create programs that are appropriate for them and the atmosphere in which they live.
