ID CODE PROGRAMMING (PAIRING FUNCTION)

The unique ID code required for radio communication is programmed between the Portable Control Unit and
the Central Unit. The Central Unit may store the ID code of up to one Portable Control Unit.

With the following procedure:

1. connect the appropriate yellow cap (Pairing Plug) for programming to
the input of the central unit

2. Activate the central unit remotely, via the selector on the side.
3. LED STATUSflashes 10 times (deleting the current ID code)

4. Deactivate, switch off the central unit

5. Rotate the PCU emergency stop button

6. Press and hold the ON button until a short beep

sounds

Online Programming mode
Note that the LED display of the central unit must be monitored by programming.

Do the following:
1. Activate the central unit remotely.

2. Rotate the stop button on the PCU

3. Activate the PCU via the button. -

The red LED must be lit continuously

NB. The next operation should be carried out immediately after turning on the radium. If too much time
passes the procedure will not be successful. Steps 3 and 4 must be carried out within a maximum of 5
seconds.
4. Produce pulses in rapid succession with spring return switch Fn to THE RIGHT until the PCU gives a long
beep and the central unit display indicates P:o – 0:0.
-If you do not receive the first long beep , start againin step 1 and run elements 3 and 4 faster.

5. The online programming mode is now active, the online programming mode consists of 11 different
menus.
Now it is possible to calibrate the different maneuvers

Activating online programming mode
Note that the Central Unit LED display is required to be monitored during programming mode.

Do as follows:

1. Activate the Central Unit in Remote Mode.

2. Twist up the stop button on the PCU

3. Activate the PCU via the on-button.

-Red LED should be lit continuously

4. Produce impulses in very quick succession with spring return switch Fn in RIGHT direction until the PCU
gives a long beep signal and the Central Unit display will indicate P:o – 0:0. Wait approx. 12 seconds until
the next long beep signal then continue with item 5.

-If you do not receive the first long beep signal, start again from item 1 and execute items 3 and 4
quicker. Items 3 and 4 must be executed within maximum 5 seconds.
5. Online programming mode is now active, the online programming mode consist of 11 different menus
that can be toggled using the on-button, see below table for each menu assignment.
There are a total of 8 steps of which three are divided into two parts: 1, 2, 3, 4-A, 4-B, 5-A, 5-B, 6, 7, 8-A, 8-
B.
Below is the table with the description of each step.

N.B. steps 4,5 and 8 are divided into two parts:

- the first part (-A) with the right LED switched off (relating to manoeuvre 1 to 4)
- the second part (-B) with the right-hand LED switched on (relating to manoeuvre 5 and 6)

In these special steps when the button is pressed, the programming step advances from the first to the
second part of the same step, distinguishable by the right LED being lit, and then continues to the next step

To switch from step 4 to step 5 you need to press the power button twice, as there is both step 4-A and 4-B

In steps 4A, 5A, 4B, and 5B the speeds of the speed set you are in at the time of programming are
adjusted. In radio remote controls equipped with several speed sets, the programming of these steps
must be repeated for each set. For the SET selection mode, please refer to the documentation enclosed
with the specific system.
The following page describes step 4 and step 5 in detail.

Calibration of “START” parameters

Step 4A: Start speed outputs 1 – 4

Individual adjustment of output start speed
Available values 0-100 Activate the targeted lever (1 to 4) and toggle to desired value using the Fn-toggle left
to decrease and right to increase
The current value will be presented in the CU LED
Right Red LED on radio OFF

Step 4B: Start speed output 5 – 6

Individual adjustment of output start speed
Available values 0-100 Activate the targeted lever (1 or 2) and toggle to desired value using the Fn-toggle left
to decrease and right to increase
The current value will be presented in the CU LED
Right Red LED on radio ON

Calibration of “STOP” parameters

Step 5A: Stop speed output 1 – 4

Individual adjustment of output stop speed
Available values 0-100 Activate the targeted lever (1 to 4) and toggle to desired value using the Fn-toggle left
to decrease and right to increase
The current value will be presented in the CU LED
Right Red LED on radio OFF

Step 5B Stop speed output 5 – 6 A/B

Individual adjustment of output stop speed
Available values 0-100 Activate the targeted lever (1 or 2) and toggle to desired value using the Fn-toggle left
to decrease and right to increase
The current value will be presented in the CU LED
Right Red LED on radio ON

In step 4-B and 5-B only two levers work as 2 maneuvers are available. To switch from step 4-A to 4-B press
the start button.

Test mode
Do the following:
1. Press and release the emergency button

2. Press the power button once until the LED lights up

PROCEDURE DISABLING THE MICRO FUNCTION

MICRO FUNCTION (reduced speed)

The radio systems with Executive push-button panels are equipped with the Micro mode of operation (also
called Turtle mode, or reduced speeds).

When activating the Micro mode the speed of the maneuvers is reduced to 60% of the normal speed

The LED to the left of the emergency mushroom indicates, blinking once in green, that the control panel is
located in Micro mode.

Micro mode selection:

the Fn switch also performs the function of activating/deactivating the Micro mode, giving a pulse to the
right

• Moving the Fn selector to the right once you activate the Micro mode, again to the right, you
return to normal mode. For safety reasons, the return to 100% of normal speed is allowed only
when all manipulators are in a resting position

• The activation of the Micro speed is indicated by the flashing green Fn LED. When turned on again,
the control panel will be placed on the last mode of operation in which it was before the shutdown.

• You can activate or deactivate the Micro function from the programming step n°3 of the push-
button panel. By disabling the Micro function from step 3 of programming, the Fn switch to the
right will no longer cause the Micro mode to be switched on/off.

CALIBRATION mode

The mode in which you can adjust the speeds of the maneuvers, the reversal of the functions and the type
of OUTPUTS ON/ OFF (stable or unstable)

• Rotate the emergency mushroom clockwise to unhook it.

• Turn on the transmitter normally and immediately after operate the Fn switch repeatedly to the
right, for at least ten times, at the speed of about three pulses per second, until a short BEEP is
heard.
• The transmitter is now in "CALIBRATION" mode
• The display inside the receiver indicates and the receiver emits a BEEP every four seconds

Enabling/disabling the MICRO function

Press the button three times to reach the programming step that enables the micro function.

Three BEEPs indicate the selection of the correct programming step, the LED on the left is on or off
depending on how the micro mode is configured in the radio: GREEN LED on, micro enabled. LED off micro
disabled.

Moving the "Fn" switch to the left enables the micro function (if already active, it does not switch state),
moving the switch to the left disables the function.
