 THE CENTRAL UNIT (CU)

The central unit is equipped with:

1. Standard antenna;
2. Selector for the working mode (manual/remote control);
3. Serial cable connector;
4. Status LED;
5. 7-segment LED display.

Indications of the operational status

The central unit uses status and DV LEDs to indicate current operating status and alarms.

Status LED lit red; the central unit is lit in standby mode (pending connection with the control panel).
Status LED lit green; the central unit is lit in operating mode (connection with the control panel).

Bright red DV LED; indicates that the DV output is active.

 ERROR CODES

In case of malfunction the central unit will indicate the anomaly by flashing the STATUS LED in red while on
the internal display will be displayed "Er" followed by four characters divided into two blocks corresponding
to the error code encountered.

The push-button panel performs a check on its parts at each power on and in case encounter anomalies
manifests an error code by flashing the red LED and play the internal buzzer a certain number of times,
depending on the type of error Found.

ENABLING DIAGNOSTIC MODE

A diagnostic mode has been made available to manage the system, which will allow the operator to read
error codes, output characteristics and obtain information about the program.

Do the following:
1. Remove the battery. Connect the cable between the transmitter and turn off the central unit via the R/M
switch.

2. Activate the central unit in REMOTE mode.

3. Press the ON button on the remote control once.

4. Produce pulses in rapid succession with the speed selector to the LEFT (MICRO-ON direction)

15 times.
5. Diagnostic mode is now on!

The diagnostic mode consists of 8 different menus that can be toggled using the ON button.

To exit diagnostic mode, press the stop-button on the portable control unit.

 ONLINE PROGRAMMING MODE

Do the following:

1. Remove the battery. Connect the cable between the transmitter and the central unit.
2. Press the Stop button on the radio and deactivate the central unit.

3. Turn the Stop button and activate the central unit remotely.

4. Press the ON button once.

5. Move the speed selector in rapid succession to the RIGHT (MICRO-OFF direction) 10 times or until the
remote control beeps long.
5. The online programming mode is now active.

This online programming mode consists of 15 different menus that can be activated using the On button.

 PAIRING

The unique ID code required for radio communication is programmed between the Portable Control Unit and
the Central Unit. The Central Unit may store the ID code of up to one Portable Control Unit.

With the following procedure:

1. Remove the battery from the remote control. Perform system tests using the control cable.
2. Leave the control cable connected between the transmitter and the central unit.

3. Press the Stop button on the remote control and deactivate the central unit.

4. Activate the central unit in REMOTE mode, turn the Stop button on the radio.
5. Press and hold the transmitter power button until you get a beep (about 5 seconds). Release the button
and wait.

6. Once the ID programming is complete, remove the cable control, insert the battery pack and run the
system/application with radio control.

 TEST MODE

1. Press the Stop button on the remote control to turn it off.

2. Turn the Stop button and press the power button once so that the Power-LED is illuminated in red.
3. Wait about 1 second from step 2, and then press the On button in quick succession until the LED starts
blinking (about 10 times).

4. The self test mode of the portable control unit is now active
