In CY22, India’s sports goods exports stood at USD 0.5 billion, which accounted for less than 1% of the global
sports goods market. Given the country’s focus on “Make in India” and various schemes promoting sports,
like Khelo India and FIT India movement, India is poised for investments to expand it’s current sports goods
manufacturing capacities and increase sports goods exports
