The meeting started at 6 p.m. presided over by the Vice President, Jasmin Roldan, with the consent of
Mr. Manatad, the Batch President.

2023 Grand Alumni Homecoming Plans and Activities

Ms. Roldan presented the 2023 Guidelines and Mechanics to the Grand Alumni Homecoming Parade and
Musical Showdown with the theme Disney Samar Saya: A Celebration of Colors and Cultural Innovations. The
activities will take place from July 23 to July 30, 2023, however the Grand Musical Showdown and Parade will
be held on July 28. Grand Night will follow on July 29 and the Beach Party will take place on July 30.

As agreed during the meeting, the batch will participate in the Float Competition, Grand Musical
showdown, and T-shirt design competitions.
The theme or subject for this year's alumni homecoming was selected through an online voting process
for the batch entry. With Moana, Dumbo, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, and Pirates of the Caribbean as the
other options, The Little Mermaid got the most votes. Ms. Roldan is in charge of submitting the Entry or
Registration form to the designated host batch.

It was highlighted that only fifteen (15) participants would join the showdown since it was one of the
mechanics given by the host batches. The following were identified as participants’ subject for confirmation by
the participants themselves:

 The main characters, Ariel and Prince Eric, have not been chosen yet. It will be identified in the
coming days.

The propmen were not identified yet as the concept was still to be discussed by the committee.

Notes: Mr. Abayan will charge a minimal fee for the t-shirt.

It was suggested that the float's costs should only fall between Php10,000 and Php15,000.

Participants in the Grand Showdown and Parade should pay for their own costumes, make-up,
accessories, etc.

For the Grand Night, it was suggested that the contribution is Php 500. There hasn't yet been a
discussion on the beach party contribution.

It was requested that each batchmate give a contribution of Php1,000 to help pay for the costs
associated with the Float and Grand musical showdown and parade in order to make all of these things
feasible. Those classmates who have kind hearts are welcome to send donations for these events.

 Batch Fund / Monthly Contribution Update

Ms. Abegail Dy presented the existing funds deposited in the BDO account. The money on the
BDO account is PHP 99,271. 94 as of May 12, 2023. There is still money to be deposited in the
amount of PHP 12,400. The total fund is PHP 111,671.94

Alumni from the batch of 1999 are highly encouraged to contribute their Php400 monthly
contribution which will be used as a fund for the forthcoming hosting in 2025.
