INSTRUCTIONS:
Purse
1. Draw line with ruler 2 1/8" from the curved end of one patch. Discard 2 1/8" scrap.
2. Cut along line to create the front of purse. Leave the other patch intact - this will
form the back and flap of purse.
3. Align the curved edges of the two patches. Stitch together using large eye needle
and two strands of metallic thread. (Hint: to insure proper alignment of the pattern
pieces, begin stitching from center of lower curved edges, concealing knots on the
inside of purse.) The patches have prepunched holes that will make the stitching very
easy.
Strap
4. Cut desired length of gold cord. To prevent unraveling, wrap ends with tape or apply
anti-fray liquid.
5. Use metallic thread to tack ends to inside of purse.
Closure
6. Affix velcro closure dots to reverse side of flap and front of purse. Stitch in place
with black thread.
7. Trim loop of tassel, leaving 1/2" tail.
8. Hot glue to center of curved edge of flap.
