The book “antes de diciembre”, by Joana Marcus is one of the

most popular books of the juvenil romance gender. Is the first
book of a trilogy, which tells the history about Jenna Brown and
how when she has to start college, some problems are present in
her life. That’s when the story starts and each book tells how her
life has developed since then.
The book treats topics such as toxic relationships or family
issues. However, the main topic is love, the love which flourished
between Jenna and the love interest Jack Ross. It is a mix of
emotions and situations some teenagers could identify with.
One of the chapters, on Jenna’s birthday. Jenna’s celebrating at a
flat where she lives with Jack and other friends. They are having
fun after Jack surprises her and she is called by her mother and
she is given the notice that her grandmother has died. It shows
how everything can change at any moment. It’s a great book
which makes you empathize with the characters.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a romantic trilogy with a
happy ending I advise you to read these. You won’t close them
until you have finished reading.
