A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY AND RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING HONORABLE

SARA Z. DUTERTE, VICE PRESIDENT, REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, FOR
EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO TWO HUNDRED COLLEGE STUDENTS IN THE
MUNICIPALITY OF GUBAT, SORSOGON.

WHEREAS, one of the priority and mandate of the Local Government Unit of Gubat is
to provide and promote quality education accessible for all and by virtue of several
numbered ordinances since 2010, this municipality was able to provide educational
assistance to more or less Two Hundred Fifty college students from public college and
university in the Province of Sorsogon, as of this writing;

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Gubat is in gratitude for your assistance provided

recently that had catered to Seventy-Four college students from private and public
college/universities as they received Three Thousand Pesos from your good office;

WHEREAS, the municipality having limited funds for the purpose thus request from
your good office for educational assistance as an augment to this local government
unit’s program to provide quality and accessible education for all of its constituents;

WHEREAS, the same is in high hope of being partner with your office in the realization
of quality education in this municipality and at the same time for the furtherance of the
benefactors’ college education and be of big help to their family’s financial burden;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Jodan F. Enaje and duly seconded

by/unanimously seconded, it was:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, earnestly and respectfully requesting Honorable

Sara Z. Duterte, Vice President, Republic of the Philippines, for educational assistance
to two hundred college students in the Municipality of Gubat, Sorsogon;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be furnished Hon. Sara Z. Duterte,
Vice President, 11F, Robinsons Cybergate Plaza, EDSA cor. Pioneer St., Mandaluyong,
1550, Metro Manila, for her information.
