Ocean Freight Terms & Conditions

1. Charges purely quoted based on Port to Door basis, exclude Pickup, Export clearance,
Port formalities in origin country
2. All port, liner, customs, road tolls will be at actuals.
3. Any surcharges from shipping line will be at actuals.
4. Quote excludes cargo transit insurance. Can be provided on request.
5. Quote valid for general, non-hazardous, in gauge cargo only.
6. Cargo needs to be packed securely with no leakage.
7. Destination customs duties, port and liner fees will be on consignee.
8. Duty & VAT to be paid by Customer in advance
9. 48 Hours advance notification is required to make necessary Clearance arrangements
10. All Scope of Services & Transport Rates above are subject to overall safety, sighting p/lists,
Operational feasibility/clearances at the time of movement & rules & proper packing/
bundling of the cargo units, motorable/normal non hilly/non mountainous terrain & road
conditions at the time of movement, payloads of vehicles, safety & HSE norms, direct
route/ access to site within Oman territory, single point load /offload for each trailer.
11. Any special handling by the port operator will be charged extra.
12. Container / truck loading will be shipper’s / consignee’s responsibility.
13. Any special handling if required can be provided by CONCORDEOM for additional charges.
14. Weekend, after office hours clearance handling will be additional.
15. Miss declaration of weight or volume will be penalized in line with carrier’s terms and
conditions for vessel operational delay.
16. Allratesunless specified willbesubjectto any General Rate Increase(GRI), Peak Season
Surcharge(PSS), Bunker Adjustment (BAF), Emergency Surcharge, Fuel Surcharge
(FSC), War Risk Surcharge, Security Surcharge, Regulatory fee, etc. imposed
bycarriers.
17. Carrier not responsible for the quality, quantity & condition of the cargoes
18. All terms and condition as per Liner Bill of Lading.
19. Force Majeure - In no event shall the CONCORDEOM be responsible or liable for any failure
or delay in the performance of its obligations hereunder arising out of or caused by,
directly or indirectly, forces beyond its control, including, without limitation, strikes, work
stoppages, accidents, acts of war or terrorism, civil or military disturbances, nuclear or
natural catastrophes or acts of God.
20. All Surcharges are subject to change at short notice and is not determined by
CONCORDEOM Logistics LLC, hence it will be applied to VATOS.
21. This quote shall supersede any priorquotes ororal agreement/discussions
pertaining to the quoted rates. Unless mutually agreed to in writing, quotations
are not binding.
22. Cargo must be packed in seaworthy condition and CONCORDEOM should not be held
responsible for any delay/damages and penalties.
23. All business transactions are subject to our company`s Standard Trading Conditions, copy
of which is available upon request.
24. It is CONCORDEOM’s endeavor to move shipments as planned however if there is any
shutout/rollover either at origin or at transshipment point due to constraints /
restrictions by the Port/Carriers,
25. CONCORDEOM will not be responsible for any additional cost / consequential losses.
26. Other terms and conditions as per CONCORDEOM policy.

Terms & Conditions for Air Freight
1. Charges purely quoted based on airport to Door basis, exclude Pickup, Export clearance,
airport charges in origin country
2. Certificate of Origin in Original is mandatory by Oman Customs as of 1st Feb, 2018 for all Import
custom clearance.
3. Original Commercial invoice, Packing list and Certificate of Origin signed in ink and stamped in
company seal is must for all import clearance in Oman, otherwise will attach 2% of CIF Value as
additional charges and customer can get it refunded directly incase Original legalized docs in
submitted within 90 days of shipment arrival and as approved by customs.
4. Duty & VAT to be paid by Customer in advance

7. Quoted on Airport - Door Basis.
8. Quoted on General cargo, NON-HAZ and non temp. Controlled.
9. Rates valid for general shipment only, not valid for hazardous, lithium battery, perishable
temperature control or oversized cargo unless identified in this quotation.
10. Price excludes all additional special charges such as Customs inspection, Quarantine inspection,
magnetism test, fumigation, special loading equipment i.e. cranes, padding wood, if applicable
will be quoted case to case.
11. Rate is applicable to stackable shipment only
12. No insurance for shipment and limited to carrier’s liability.

Terms & Conditions for Road Freight

1. The above quoted rates for transportation are for normal in gauge.
2. Return load, if any, will be charged @ 60% of the quoted value.
3. If the vehicle is cancelled after mobilization, 60% of the freight per truck will be charged as
cancellation.
4. All border charges, Agent fees, Taxes, DPC, Toll fee will be charged back on actuals.
5. Duty & VAT to be paid by customer in Advance.
6. All Scope of Services & Transport Rates above are subject to overall safety, sighting p/lists,
Operational feasibility/clearances at the time of movement & rules & proper packing/ bundling
of the cargo units, motorable/normal non hilly/non mountainous terrain & road conditions at
the time of movement, payloads of vehicles, safety & HSE norms, direct route/ access to site
within Oman territory, single point load /offload for each trailer.

9. Excludes loading and offloading at both ends.
10. Excludes insurance.
11. CONCORDEOM shall not be liable for any damage to or loss of the Goods whilst in transit
(Including handling and any ancillary storage)
12. Free time for loading and of loading is 4 hrs. anything beyond that would be considered as
standby and would be OMR. 65/- for 3 Ton up to 7 Ton, OMR. 70/- for FB.
13. Rest of the terms and conditions as per CONCORDEOM Policy.
