Oral: Re-telling a Fairytale


Question 1

1. Re-tell Jack and the Beanstalk from the Giant’s point of view.

2. Present your story to the class as a speech.

3. Your story should be about 2-3 minutes long.

4. Plan your story carefully and make sure that you tell the story in a logical
sequence.

5. Practise your story at home; prepare cue cards to help you. You must know
your story and be confident when you tell it.

6. You may use simple props if you want to. You may also bring music to play or
any other media that you think may make your story more interesting.
