Reflection about “The Five Monkey Experiment”

“That’s how it’s always been done. This sentence might be the answer of the
monkeys whenever other monkey finds a reason why they are being pulled down by
their cage mates. In fact, they do not actually experienced being sprayed by an icy
water. They are just being persuade by other monkeys.
Being a human being who has the ability to find a reason and make a wise
decisions, we are capable to understand that it is not always about the perceptions
of the others but because it is our decisions that matters the most. Imagine we are
looking and finding something that makes us really curious about something then
suddenly someone tells us to stop what we are doing because for them, it is just a
waste of time. But in reality, they do not actually experienced what we are doing.
They are just saying it because they heard it from someone who also don’t
experience those kind of things as well. It is important to remember that as long as
we are living, we continue to find reason. This will help us to fully understand a
certain thing that we are curious about and no one will take away that opportunity
from us.
