Results  The first topic was about Pedagogical approaches discussed
by Mrs. Marycris F. Victa. She gave some strategies that the
teacher can used during the teaching leaning process.
 The second discussants were Mrs. Ana Liza F. Bolaňos and
Corazon D. Reyes, they explained about Work Ethics in
School. They gave some examples of what a teacher can do
when they are inside the school. They also clarified that when
you were a teacher there were things that we should avoid
because of our profession.
 The third topic was discussed by Mrs. Michelle G. Joson-
Mid- Year Performance Review and Evaluation and DepEd
Order no. 8, s. 202. She explained the things that we should
prepare when accomplishing the Teachers’ Portfolio. She also
explained about the materials that we can used during the
Friday activities and all the things or attachment we need to
do which that is related to the Catch-up Friday like teachers’
guide, class program and differentiated activities that will suit
to the learner’s level.
  Ms. Jhanet S, Hernandez, in the afternoon session, discussed
and oriented the teacher about the Capacity Building for
Project Transforming the Youth through Values Education.
She explained that the AVAW (A Value A Week) becomes
AVAM (A Value A Month). Each week teachers need to give
activities to pupils, 1st week the pupils will need to make
journal writing, 2nd week Draw and Tell, 3rd week Essay
Writing about the value for the month, 4th week Bible Verse-
where pupils were assigned to bring their own bible and
search a verse that is related to the Value for the month.
 She also added that teachers should integrate values if needed
and if it is related to the topic which had been discussed.

After all the discussants shared their insights, ideas, knowledge, and
opinions Mrs. Ana Liza F. Bolaňos gave her closing remarks for the
INSET and the final activity was awarding of certificates to all
teachers who served as resource speakers and participates in the said
activity.

Monitoring & The principal monitors the said activity and guide the teachers about the things
Evaluation that they need to accomplish after the INSET, especially the Teachers’ portfolio
and materials that need to be prepared for the Catch-up Friday.
