CBS New York Summer Internship June 6, 2023 – HR Director; VP Creative
Program: July 28, 2023. Services; Assistant News
Director, News Director,
CBS New York’s internship program Engineering Director
consisted of 7 interns over the course
of an 8-week program. We had 3
different areas of internship
experience, engineering, creative
services, and the newsroom. Our
Engineering Dept had 2 interns, our
Creative Services Dept had 2 interns
and our Newsroom Dept had 3
interns. Interns participated in all
facets of CBS New York’s daily
operations in their respective
departments, in addition to in the
field operations. The interns received
mentoring from department heads and
leaders throughout the company, in
addition to a hands-on experience of
news creation, production, and
operations.

Seminar Time Staff Employees held a seminar to discuss
the myriad legal
questions and challenges
that come up in the
course of newsgathering,
reporting and promoting
our content.
Dr. James Zogby Available to All Full 11/19/2023 Dr. James Zogby joined
Lunch + Learn Time Staff Employees us via zoom to
participate in a
conversation relating to
the Israeli-Hamas
conflict. While our news
team is heavily covering
these events, it was a
learning opportunity and
helpful for our staff to
learn about the
complicated history of
the conflict, so we had a
subject matter expert
come in to share all
relevant information to
make our news reporting
a bit more seamless. The
conversation was
moderated by Marcia
Kramer.
