1. Preparation
(!!)This paragraph needs to turn off the Auto pilot power supply.
(1) Confirm the connection external wires
(!!) Max rudder is 35deg : Set angle is Stbd-max(S 35deg) / Port-max(P 35deg)
Max rudder is 45deg : Set angle is Stbd-max(S 45deg) / Port-max(P 45deg)
Max rudder is 70deg : Set angle is Stbd-max(S 70deg) / Port-max(P 70deg)
(a) Case of CH1(CH5):
Adjust TP1-TP7(GND) to +4.5VDC by R79.
TP1-TP7(GND): +4.5VDC R79
(b) Case of CH2(CH6):
Adjust TP2-TP7(GND) to +4.5VDC by R80.
TP2-TP7(GND): +4.5VDC R80
(c) Case of CH3(CH7):
Adjust TP5-TP7(GND) to +4.5VDC by R142.
TP5-TP7(GND): +4.5VDC R142
(d) Case of CH4(CH8):
Adjust TP6-TP7(GND) to +4.5VDC by R143.
TP6-TP7(GND): +4.5VDC R143
(4) Set the device to “Set Angle” of Port.
(a) Case of CH1(CH5):
Adjust TP1-TP7(GND) to +0.5VDC by R79.
TP1-TP7(GND): +0.5VDC R79
(b) Case of CH2(CH6):
Adjust TP2-TP7(GND) to +0.5VDC by R80.
TP2-TP7(GND): +0.5VDC R80
(c) Case of CH3(CH7:)
Adjust TP5-TP7(GND) to +0.5VDC by R142.
TP5-TP7(GND): +0.5VDC R142
(d) Case of CH4(CH8):
Adjust TP6-TP7(GND) to +0.5VDC by R143.
TP6-TP7(GND): +0.5VDC R143 OK NG
(!!) Max rudder is 35deg : Set angle is HARD Stbd (S 35deg) / HARD Port (P 35deg)
Max rudder is 45deg : Set angle is HARD Stbd (S 45deg) / HARD Port (P 45deg)
Max rudder is 70deg : Set angle is HARD Stbd (S 70deg) / HARD Port (P 70deg)
(!!)If the SPAN voltage is adjusted, the ZERO voltage and position may be changed.
Because must check the ZERO voltage and position after the adjustment.
(!!) If the SPAN voltage is higher approx 0.5VDC than (+)4.5VDC, Alert is generated
at Auto pilot. The alert name is “UID# OFF LINE”.
(a) Case of CH1(CH5):
Adjust TP1-TP7(GND) to +4.5VDC by R79.
TP1-TP7(GND): +4.5VDC R79
(b) Case of CH2(CH6):
Adjust TP2-TP7(GND) to +4.5VDC by R80. CH1
TP2-TP7(GND): +4.5VDC R80 VDC
3. Operation check
(1) Steer the rudder to 0deg by every device.
Indication: ±0.5deg(Max rudder is 35deg and 45deg)
±1.0deg(Max rudder is 70deg) OK NG
(2) Steer the rudder to “Set Angle” of Stbd by every device.
Indication: ±1.0 deg(Max rudder is 35deg and 45deg)
±2.0 deg(Max rudder is 70deg) OK NG
(3) Steer the max rudder angle to Stbd.
And then keep the angle for 10 secondes.
Confirm the alert is not generated at ANNU. (Alert name is UID# OFF LINE) OK NG
(4) Steer the max rudder angle to Port.
And then keep the angle for 10 secondes.
Confirm the alert is not generated at ANNU. (Alert name is UID# OFF LINE) OK NG
(5) Set the device to 0deg.
Confirm the rudder doesn’t move automatically.
(!!) If the rudder was moved automatically even though the device is 0deg,
SGCPU must be checked or adjusted.
This situation is depended on the deviation of order signal and feed-back signal. OK NG
