    What was it about? Its about a man who books himself into a motel room contemplating
    committing suicide by shooting himself. The room next door suddenly blares loud music and
    he can’t think properly because of it. He then goes next door to ask if they can turn it down
    but the guy in the other room recognises him as his old teacher from back in school. He
    comes into his room and tries to talk to the teacher who, after a while, tells him to get out.
    The old student then returns to his room and the loud music resumes but suddenly a
    gunshot is heard coming from that room. The teacher goes to check to find the student has
    committed suicide.
    How was the story structured? Beginning, Dilemma, Reconciliation, Altercation, Climax,
    Remorse
    Discuss the technical aspects (camera, lighting, sound etc.) The lighting was quite ddim and
    washed. The sound of the music through the walls was muffled abit.
    What did you like? I liked the story and the unexpected turn, but upon reflecting I now
    understand that hidden details like the student recently being divorced and wanting to talk
    to him to express his feelings was executed well.
    What didn’t you like? There wasn’t really anything wrong in my opinion. It was a well
    orchestrated story.
    Is there anything that has inspired an idea of your own? Not necessarily however the
    unexpected climax might be something I may want to consider when coming up with an
    idea.
