A: Yes. The app is supported on iOS and Android devices.
Q: Do you need to use your business smartphone or tablet?
A: There are no restrictions to prevent you from accessing the content
on a personal device. You would just need to log-in using your SSO
credentials.
Q: Is it possible to do the training on a laptop or computer?
A: No, the training is mobile-native (smartphone/tablet) There are plans
to release a desktop version within the Dojo in the future.
Q: Who can I contact if I need support?

Q: Is there a deadline for to complete the course?
A: ESS certification is required for partner program compliance. We are
encouraging distributors and resellers to complete the updated

training. Previous active ESS certifications continue to count for partner
program and specialization compliance. Please refer to the Extreme

Q: Is it possible to retake the course if you are not successful the
first time?
A: Yes, If you complete a level without obtaining a knowledge level of
the 80% pass mark, you can simply retake that level by resetting the
level yourself within the game.
Q: Does ESS training on mobile app cover everything to become
ESS certified?
A: The focus is on all elements of Extreme. With the bonus content
covering the portfolio. The Extreme Sales Specialist Certification
replaces all previous ESS from a partner program perspective. Please

Q: How I can enroll for Extreme Sales Specialist (ESS) training?

Q: How can I get certified for ESS?
A: Get Certified by completing the Extreme Sales Specialist
Game by registering on the Dojo downloading the Extreme Game
Center app and achieving an 80% knowledge level upon completion of
level 5.
Q: Where and when, can I download my certificate?
A: After completing the ESS training and obtaining an 80% knowledge
level, you certificate will be loaded with 24/48 hours
of completion and can be viewed in the Dojo.
Q: What is the format of new ESS training? Is it the same format
as previous courses video + exam?
A: The format is consistent with watching a video first and then
answer questions about the video content. The content is broken
down in smaller video clips around 2-5 minutes each.

A: Yes, this certificate is free of charge to Extreme partners.
Q: How long is ESS certification valid?
A: This certificate is valid for one year from completion.
Q: What is the duration of the course?
A: The course contains approximately 2 hours of content

A: No, the ESS course should be completed in full.

Q: How can I be sure my experience is secure while using the
Extreme Game Center App?
A: Extreme Networks take security and privacy of your data seriously
and security of the Extreme Game Center app was a primary
consideration in the roll out of the ESS training. Rigorous due diligence
was performed to ensure all aspects of the app meet our usual high
standards of security.
As with most apps some access to phone permissions may be
requested. Typically, this is to access advanced or optional functions
such as adding a personal Avatar photo. It should be noted that these
permissions can be denied, and this will not impact the core function of
the app which is to access the ESS training and achieve the certification.
