SETUP2
SETUP3
ADVANTAGES OF SETUP 1
1)It is easy to manage, as each device is connected to a central hub or switch
2)It is scalable, as new devices can be added easily without affecting the
existing ones
3)It is reliable, as the failure of one cable or device does not affect the rest of
the network
4)It is high-performing, as there are no data collisions or interference
ADVANTAGES OF SETUP 2
Easy to implement and to add more nodes to the network.
Quick to set up.
Uses less cabling than some other network topologies and is therefore cost
effective.
Can be used with a variety of cable types, including coaxial, twisted pair, and
fiber optic.
ADVANTAGES OF SETUP 3
More agility than traditional WAN/MPLS networks
More reliability than traditional WAN/MPLS networks
More cost-effective than traditional WAN/MPLS networks

DISADVANTAGES OF SETUP 1
It is expensive to install as this type of network uses the most cable
(network cable is expensive).
Extra hardware is required (hubs or switches) which adds to cost.
If a hub or switch fails, all the devices connected to it will have no network
connection.
DISADVANTAGES OF SETUP 2
It can be difficult to find out where an error has occurred as more nodes are
added.
The performance of the network can be reduced, making this unsuitable for
large local area networks (LANs).
The whole network fails if the backbone cable is broken or if there is a
problem with the main bus cable.
DISADVANTAGES OF SETUP 3
It is a type of network expensive.
The design of a hybrid network is very complex.
There is a change in the hardware to connect one topology with another
topology.
