OPENING PROGRAM OF GSP CAMPING

Being a scouter is not an easy task since you have a lot of duties and responsibilities
to perform. However, if you live by the heart the promises and the laws of being a scouter,
nothing is impossible to do.

Good Morning Everyone and Welcome to the 9 th Girls Scouts Simultaneous School
Camp here at San Isidro Central and SPED School!

My salute to our Public Schools District Supervisor, Marigold A. Candia, our principal,
Sir Jonas C. Torres, fellow Teachers, Girl Scouts Troop Leaders, Twinklers, Star Scouters and
Junior Girl Scouts, Parents, Guests, Mabuhay tayong lahat.

For us to know the fulfillment of the Scout’s promises, a camping is held here at San
Isidro Central and SPED School in which the campers are grouped together to unite and to build
a good relationship.

Today and tomorrow, we will assess the good attitudes of our scouters through our
Simultaneous School Camping. To start with, may I request everyone to please rise with pride
for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem which will be followed by a prayer, both will
be accompanied by an overture. Scouters, please be reminded of our hand salute while singing
the National Anthem.

For more than 100 years, Scouting programs have instilled in youth the values
found in the Scout Promise and Scout Law. Today, these values are just as relevant in
helping the youth to grow to their full potential being. Scouting helps the youth develop
academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that
influence their adult lives.
Our Flag —the Sun and Stars —is the living symbol of our country, the
Philippines. It is the emblem of our nationhood, of what we have been, of what we are, and of
what we hope to be. In our flag are crystallized common aspirations as Filipinos and
our collective vision for our country's future. To lead the Pledge of Allegiance, may I
call on GSP Scout ______________for the Panunumpa sa Watawat.

Girl Scouts of all ages recite—and live by—the ideals listed in the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
They remind us to do our best in being kind to others, respecting ourselves, making the world a
better place, and so much more. The Girl Scout Promise is a commitment families can make to
support the local Girl Scout community as they grow, bond, and learn together.

To lead the Promise and Law of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines,
GSP Scout MARSHELL BAGOOD (Promise) and DAPHNE ANGELINE LINTAO (Law)
To promote and encourage professional development among leaders and scouters,
may I call on stage our principal, Sir Jonas C. Torres to give us his welcoming greetings.
Let’s give him a big hand.

At this juncture, let us lend our hears to our active School PTA President, Mr. Emmanuel
Besandre for the Opening Remarks.

We are about to go to the exciting part of the program. The Scouts Yell during the presentation.
But before we proceed, may we remind the audience to refrain from shouting when the troupes
are presenting their yells. You may applaud after they presented.

But before that let us first listen to an inspirational message from our very own Barangay
Captain of San Isidro Mahayag, Hon. Nestor Amarilla

Are you ready scouts?!

And now! The moment has arrived. I know you are all excited to show your yell. At this
juncture, we now proceed to the presentation of the scout troupes by Maam Aimee S. Into.

As Girls Scouts of the Philippines, we yearn for unity, synergism and oneness in attaining our
community goals and objectives. We take part in the aspiration of the community and the nation
in ensuring the greatest balance and harmony in the world we live. To show our commitment in
working hand-in-hand in the pursuit of the realization of this aim, we will hold our hands as we
sing our community singing to be lead by Mam Maria Girly N. Antiquina

_______ OPENING OF THE SCOUTING MOVEMENT_______

Now, may I call on, Sir Jonas C. Torres, our principal for the opening of the scouting
movement. Let’s give him a round of applause.

Alright, before we end this part of our activity, let me ask you, ARE YOU READY to
explore and have fun? I bet all of us here are already excited to explore, play, learn and enjoy
this 9th GSP Simultaneous School Camp.

Before we end this opening program and proceed to the different activities today, may
we remind the scouts to always obey your leaders and teachers in charge to avoid any
unfortunate event. Always remember to have fun and enjoy the rest of the day. Thank you!
