    1. The mining and quarrying industry has one of the lowest rates of fatal and non-fatal accidents.
    Mining is an inherently hazardous industry due to the nature of the working conditions.

    2. Has prioritized to improve the company's safety performance

    3. A safe work culture that involves regular safety meetings and in-deft training, are just a few of the
    many things the mining industry is doing to improve safety. Advancing protective equipment is
    another way the mining industry can improve safety.

    4. Advances in mining technology and personal protective equipment are another comprehensive way
    for the mining industry to improve safety. Remote control drones, smart helmets that can detect toxic
    gases, and 5G telecommunications networks used for autonomous equipment are just a few of the
    ways technology is pushing the Industry towards zero harm.
