Listen and do actions to demonstrate meaning in 3 words correctly

Pre-lesson
1. Review instructions .
Lesson Delivery ( SB page 68 ) – review
1. Pre-teach start and cover .
2. Play the recording and act out the story to the class .
3. Play the recording again and pupils act out the story with
teacher .
LEARNING 4. Pupils look at the pictures in their SB and try to sequence them
OUTLINES .
5. Play the recording a third time for pupils to sequence the
pictures .
6. They compare the order in pairs . Check with the class .
Post lesson
7. Pupils work in groups of 4 . They adapt the story and changing
the instrument, activity or some instructions .
8. Groups mime and then read their stories .

Talk about social science in English in 3 words correctly and 2 simple

1. Review healthy and unhealthy activities .

1. Read the activity instructions with the class and make sure they
know what to do .
2. Pre-teach hours .
3. Pupils ask 6 friends and record their answers in the table .
LEARNING 4. Discuss the results as a class .
5. Show pupils how to make a bar chart . Make an example one on a

6. Pupils make bar charts of their results individually .
7. Talk about the bar chart on the board , adapting the speech bubble
as appropriate.
8. Pupils take turns to hold up their charts and repeat one piece of
information .

3. Pupils work in pairs.
LEARNING 4. Hand out the materials in stages , so that pupils don’t rush to
stick pictures on before they have written the days of the week

and before teacher checked their ideas .
5. Pupils try to write about their activities based on the poster .
6. Monitor and help as and when necessary .
7. Pupils write their names on the posters.
8. Display the posters on the walls of the classroom.

3. Play the recording. Pupils follow the song in their SB.
4. When pupils have learnt the song , practise it with the whole

LEARNING 5. Use the karaoke version of the song for pupils to sing in

6. Elicit pupils’ understanding of other vocabulary using the
pictures .
7. Ask pupils to create a simple chant or poem about their
activities in free time .
