I. EVALUATION OF THE COURSE:


 Technical Content:

1. The course is consisted with different topics, discussion and laws mandated by Depart of
Labor and Employment in relation to Occupational Safety and Health for the private and
also public sector.
2. Main topics that were discussed on the training were :
a. Foundation of Occupational Safety and Health
b. Workplace Safety & Health
c. OSH Inspection and Accident Investigation
3. From the said topics, the training provider also discussed the importance of the
formulation of safety and health committee, safety and health program, hazard
identification, etc.

 Impressions/Comments:

The topics discussed during the training was well thought having speakers with
experience and technicalities appropriate on every discussions. The line out of activities
was also well thought since in every topic, a workshop was formulated for us to exercise
the new knowledge gained from the training.

I. RELEVANCE OF THE LEARNING EVENT TO PARTICIPANT’S WORK FUNCTION

- Learning safety goes hand in hand with health, I find the training very relevant not
only for private sectors but also in the government & public institutions. The
formulation of a safety and health committee would provide workers a better and
safer workplace as part of the people who were trained to give emphasis to safety,
we will be promoting administrative controls and also integrate a program to attain a
safer working environment.
II. RECOMMENDATIONS:

- Face to face training would be better on this kinds of seminar as we also need to have
on hand experience on some topics that were discussed.

3. Conduct of inspection to the office in relation to
safety and health.
