1. What is Organizational Behavior?
The term "organizational behavior" simply refers to how people act in groups and the
connection between these actions and the structures of organizations. Organizational
behavior (OB) is the term used to describe how people act in groups and the connection
between these actions and the structures of organizations. Individuals display particular
behaviors when they are in groups or when given organizational roles, organizational
behavior is the study of these behaviors and how they impact organizations.

2. Give at least 3 natures of Organizational Behavior.
A separate field of study and not a discipline only - O.B. has a multi-interdisciplinary focus and is not founded on a
particular theoretical foundation. It is therefore more logical to call O.B. A separate field of study as rather than discipline only.
An interdisciplinary approach - To study human behavior at work, organizational behavior is essentially an interdisciplinary
approach. It aims to synthesize relevant knowledge from related fields like psychology, sociology, and anthropology so that it
can be used to research and analyze organizational behavior.
An applied science - O.B.'s very nature is applied. What OB does is the application of findings from many studies to address
issues with organizational structure and behavior.

3. What are the levels of Organizational Behavior?
Individual Level - Organizational behavior at the individual level examines a person's behavior, including attitudes, motivation,
perception, personality, values, ethics, satisfaction, and other characteristics.
Group Level - The group-level analysis of OB examines how individuals behave in groups, including how they interact, why
they cooperate, how they make decisions as a group, etc.
Organizational Level - Organizational behavior at this level examines how the organization functions. It focuses primarily on
how individuals interact with organizational structures, how organizations interact with one another, and how factors from the
outside world affect organizations.
