THOMAS DEMAND. MIRROR
WITHOUT MEMORY
10 SEP 2021 – 30 JAN 2022

Garage presented the exhibition of Thomas

Demand, a German artist known for his
extraordinary life-sized paper models of
architectural spaces and natural environments.
His unique approach to art blurs the line between
reality and fiction, inviting audiences into
thought-provoking explorations of perception.

One of the most exciting collaborations was with

Google's Arts & Culture platform. We created a
virtual tour of the exhibition, making it accessible
to art enthusiasts worldwide and securing a
global viewership that surpassed one million
virtual visitors. In terms of financial success, the
partnerships contributed to raising over $3
million, which directly supported the Garage
Museum's mission to foster contemporary art and
culture.

GARAGE ENDOWMENT GALA
23 NOV 2021

More than 800 guests graced the gala with their

presence, including eminent philanthropists, art
enthusiasts, celebrities, and corporate leaders. The
night's highlight was an auction featuring 10 lots,
including works by Jenny Holzer, Maurizio
Cattelan, Urs Fisher and Rashid Johnson. It also
included two special lots: a tour of Jeff Koons’
studio with the artist and a special tour of the
Metropolitan Museum in New York. The bidding
was robust, exciting, and fiercely competitive, led
by the charismatic Oliver Barker from Sotheby's.
The online auction took place on the Artsy
platform. The combination of in-person and
virtual bidding helped the auction raise $2.8M.
Through further donations and contributions from
partners like UBS and Porsche, the event's grand
total soared to $4.8M.

Role (permanent): Partnership Manager.

ANNE IMHOF: YOUTH
1 OCT 2022 – 29 JAN 2023 (STEDELIJK
MUSEUM, AMSTERDAM)

The Anne Imhof exhibition, originally scheduled to

open in the Garage Museum in Moscow in March
2022, was cancelled a month before the opening in
response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The
project was moved to Amsterdam's Stedelijk, which
was originally intended to be its second and final
stop. Since the very beginning, it was a project of
intense planning and Moscow's show preparations
influenced significantly both design and content of
the exhibition at Stedelijk . It got much denser, as
the curators had to include more works in it, like
parts of the large-scale installations created
specially for the spaces of the Garage museum and
two films shot in Moscow.

Role (permanent): Partnership Manager. This

exhibition was supposed to be one of the most
expensive initiatives ever taken by the Garage
museum. By the moment of its cancellation, our
fundraising department had already done a
significant amount of work to implement the
project. I had signed contracts with several world
famous brands on my table (names are now under
NDAs) and multiple exciting plans ahead about
our collaborative projects that never happened in
the end.

ART WEEKENDS
JUL 2019 – NOW

The Art Weekends project was an initiative

designed as a recurring, fair-like event held
monthly. Each Art Weekend featured
simultaneous exhibition openings across 12
gallery booths and main exhibition spaces,
attracting over 1000 guests. This coordinated
approach offered galleries a shared platform,
leading to a significant increase in networking
opportunities and collector engagement.
Notably, sales of art pieces doubled due to this
collaborative strategy as galleries were able to
tap into shared collectors databases, amplifying
their reach far beyond individual efforts.

Role (permanent): as the initiator and Project

Manager of the Art Weekends, I took charge of
this ambitious venture right from its inception. I
was responsible for strategizing, planning, and
executing each event, ensuring seamless
coordination among the various exhibition
spaces and especially the galleries, nurturing an
environment conducive to networking and the
sharing of collector databases.

THE PUBLIC/THE PRIVATE
Art Residence
2 – 29 SEP 2019

«The Public and The Private» was a

groundbreaking project that included open
studios, final exhibition, educational program
and even meditation practices for artists. The
project sought to investigate the concept of
personal boundaries through art. For a month,
five artists moved into the Cube.Moscow public
space to delve into this exploration, allowing
visitors to witness firsthand the process of
creation, from conceptions to final pieces. This
unique setup offered a rare glimpse into how
artworks are born, how performances are
crafted, and how artists navigate the tension
between public and private spheres. The
project was included in the parallel program of
the renowned international art fair, Cosmoscow.

Role (permanent): Project Manager & Artist

Liaison.

THE RITZ-CARLTON
RENOVATION PROJECT
JUN –DEC 2019
The Ritz-Carlton Rooms Renovation was an
exceptional project undertaken in Russia and
Kazakhstan that aimed to infuse the luxurious
ambiance of the hotel with the vibrant energy of
contemporary Russian art. Situated within the
building of Ritz-Carlton, Cube.Moscow, formed a
unique partnership with the hotel. The project was
guided by an aesthetic deeply inspired by the
Russian avant-garde. The Cube.Moscow's team of
expert curators conducted an intensive selection
process, evaluating over 1000 pieces of art from
more than 40 artists, including noteworthy names
like Elena Popova, Vladimir Semensky, and Lyudmila
Konstantinova.

Role (permanent): As a Partnership Manager, I

coordinated the relationship between
Cube.Moscow’s team, the artists and Ritz-Carlton,

GALLERY XVI

17 MOSCOW, RUSSIA
PROJECTS WITH
EMERGING GLOBAL
ARTISTS
JUL 2018 – JUN 2019

My extensive research on Contemporary Arabic

art and the art market, particularly on Syrian art,
led me to a significant initiative with Gallery XVI
in Moscow. There, I had the responsibility of
shaping the gallery concept and introducing over
30 emerging artists from Syria, Tajikistan,
Uzbekistan, the Far East, India, and Latin America.
The work of introducing these artists was
multifaceted. I initially helped the artists
translate their unique visions and experiences
into collector-friendly formats, creating artist
statements, bios, portfolios, and lists of past
exhibitions. I also established and managed their
profiles on the gallery's website. Subsequently, I
organized more than 20 exhibitions featuring
these artists, including both solo and group
shows. These exhibitions not only showcased
their talents but also raised their profiles, leading
to increased sales and expanded networks.
Alongside professional growth, I was able to form
personal relationships with these artists, leading
to enduring friendships.

Role (project-based): Artist Liaison & Curator.
