31-40. Briefly discuss the highlights of Rizal’s childhood. (10 points)

Jose Rizal was born and raised in the Laguna town of Calamba. Jose Rizal's birthplace.
He had a lot of nice and lovely experiences. He was raised by loving parents and siblings who were co
nsiderate and compassionate. Calamba, a lakeside town with beautiful scenery and the towering Mount
ains, was where he spent his childhood. He was the seventh child of Francisco Rizal Mercado and
Doña Teodora Alonzo y Quintos. Rizal's nickname, Pepe, was an intellectual from an early age.

Financial struggle, because Rizal needed a huge number of money for the publication of his
first novel, his older sister Saturnina had to sell her gold ring to help him cover the costs. Rizal
eventually chose to omit the chapter "Elias and Salome" from the work owing to a lack of financial
resources. He believed that removing this chapter about the love affair between the secondary

role of education in shaping the youth of today’s generation? (15 points)

The youth can chose and pursue their hobbies with the help of schooling. They choose their
own paths and paths in life. They make objectives for themselves and attempt to accomplish them as a
result of this. Education guides young people in the appropriate, proper, and straight path. It serves a
variety of purposes in our culture, including knowledge acquisition, goal attainment, and norm
learning. Also youth need a good education to thrive in today's competitive environment. People with
good living standards and education are the foundation of modern civilization, allowing them to apply
better solutions to their issues.

66-80. What are the elements of Rizal's concept of government, and would these elements apply to
resolve present world and national political conflicts? (15points)

Rizal’s concept of government is that an institution which has a "monopoly of the legitimate use
of physical power and institution that can legally: take people's properties by taxing them
and imprisonment executing them. Also, the political and social reforms that he espoused embodies
general ideas of tolerance, more liberty and the need for civil government. Rizal felt that by
establishing a competitive government assessment, only qualified individuals, regardless of race,
would be able to serve in the government. In today's administration, political interference and
corruption are very common.
