Check-In/Out Policy
• Check-in time is 14:00 Hrs and check-out time is 12:00 Hrs.
• Early Check-in is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, room should be reserved from the previous night
at additional charge.
• Late check-out is subject to availability and may subject to additional charges.
CURRENCY
▪ All monetary transactions within Sahid Batam Center Hotel & Convention are made in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) as
per Indonesia's government regulations; any transactions using cash or credit card will be converted to Indonesian
Rupiah at the hotel’s prevailing daily exchange rate.
▪ All major credit cards accepted.

DEPARTURE FEE & FUEL SURCHARGE


▪ IDR 65.000 Passenger Departure Fee per person (departure from Batam Center Ferry Terminal).
▪ SGD 14 Fuel Surcharge per person (departure from Harbour Front Ferry Terminal)
▪ SGD 6 passenger departure fee (PDF) is not paid at Harbour Front Ferry Terminal

The above prevailing rates and taxes are subject to changes without prior notice and to be paid by Cash or Company
cheque at the ferry operator counter upon collection of ferry ticket.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
▪ Hotel Damage or Loss:
The Client shall be responsible for any loss or damage to the Hotel’s property and the cost of replacement or repair
may be included in the final statement of account.
▪ Client Damage or Loss:
The Hotel shall not be liable to the Client or any persons attending the scheduled function for any loss, damage or
injury however caused, incurred or suffered whilst in The Hotel premises and / or car parks.
▪ Signage:
Kindly note that fixing and mounting are not permitted on any surface or part of the building. The organizer holds
the responsibility for any loss or damage to the Hotel’s property or fixture in the function rooms. Signage in the
Hotel’s public area is to be kept to a minimum and is necessary to obtain approval from the Hotel.
▪ Non-availability:
In the case of non-availability of the designated function room due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel reserves
the right to transfer your function to another function room.
▪ Force Majeure:
Any delay or failure in the performance by either party hereunder shall be excused if and to the
Extent caused by the occurrence of a Force Majeure.

For purposes of this agreement, Force Majeure shall mean a cause or event that is not reasonably foreseeable or otherwise
caused by or under the control of the party claiming Force Majeure, including acts of God, fires, floods, explosions, riots,
wars, hurricane, sabotage terrorism, vandalism, accident, restraint of government, governmental acts, injunctions, labor
strikes, other than those of seller or its suppliers, that prevent seller from furnishing the materials or equipment, and other
like events that are beyond the reasonable anticipation and control of the Party affected thereby, despite such party's
reasonable efforts to prevent, avoid, delay, or mitigate

the effect of such acts, events or occurrences, and which events or the effects thereof are not attributable to a party's failure.

In the event of non-performance due to the above reasons, The Hotel shall allow the Client or Agent to utilize the paid
deposits within 3 (three) months from the force majeure ended however no cash or refund will be applicable.

RESERVATION PROCEDURES
▪ Reservations may be made via fax, letter or email preferably 30 (thirty) days prior to arrival date. All reservations by
telephone booking shall be subsequently supported by fax, letter or email.
▪ Sahid Batam Center Hotel & Convention reserves the right to cancel the reservation and allocate to another client if
confirmation was not receive unless otherwise communicated in writing between your good self and the Sahid
Batam Center Hotel & Convention.
▪ Sahid Batam Center Hotel & Convention reserves the right to hold reservations until 18:00 hours on the day / date
of arrival (s).
▪ Sahid Batam Center Hotel & Convention reserves the right to refuse acceptance of any reservation if the rooms
required are not available or have already been reserved by other guests with respect to the period for which they
are required of part thereof.

▪ Tentative reservation release date is 21 (twenty one) days (not including check-in date) prior to arrival date. For
group reservation above 50 (fifty) rooms release date is 30 (thirty) days (not including check-in date) prior to arrival
date. In the event that we do not receive the confirmation, the reservation will be released automatically.
▪ Rooming list due date is 7 (seven) days (not including the check-in date) prior to arrival date.
▪ Reservation requests must indicate the type of bedding accommodation, number of occupants; smoking / non-
smoking preference and any other specification should be indicated. If this information is not provided, Sahid
Batam Center Hotel & Convention will assign the best available room type upon arrival of guest.

PAYMENT DETAILS
▪ All payments by cash or cheque shall be made payable to “PT.INDOMULTI PERDANA”.
▪ All payments shall be made in full payment before guest check in.
▪ Bookings are subject to the successful payment of the outstanding invoice or otherwise payment must be made in
advance on CASH basis.

AMENDMENT / CANCELLATION POLICY (LEISURE INDIVIDUAL TRAVELERS / FIT)


▪ 100% charge of full amount will be levied for any cancellation within 72 hours prior to arrival date.

▪ Should there be a no-show, early check-out or cancellation for confirmed reservation, the full duration of room
charges will be levied. Space for subsequent nights will be released for resale.
▪ All non-guaranteed reservations are subject to availability of rooms on the date of scheduled arrival.
▪ All cancellation made shall be in writing through fax, email or letter. Any verbal or telephone cancellation made
shall be subject to confirmation in writing.

GUARANTEED ATTENDANCE (GROUP INDIVIDUAL TRAVELERS / GIT)


▪ Billing will be based on the guaranteed attendance, even if the actual attendance is less than the guaranteed
attendance.
▪ Should the actual attendance exceed the guaranteed attendance, it will be charged accordingly.
▪ Changes in the guaranteed attendance to be advised at no later than 72 hours (3 working days) prior to the arrival
date.
▪ Please be advised that all set-up and arrangements must be finalized at least 2 (two) weeks prior to the event date.
MASTER ACCOUNT & INCIDENTAL BILLS
▪ Guests must produce confirmation letter/code issued by The Hotel or otherwise standard check-in procedure shall
apply and the room shall be chargeable at the Published Rack Rates.
▪ All prearranged items based on the confirmation letter/code will be charged to the company master account.
▪ All incidentals are to be charged to the personal account of the guest unless otherwise stated. These charges shall
be settled by the guest upon check-out at the Reception.
CONFIDENTIALITY
All information contained in this document is confidential and shall not be disclosed to third party for whatever reason or
purpose.

DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY


Notwithstanding any other provision on the contrary herein, the Hotel’s shall be considered in breach of this agreement
letter or under any liability whatsoever for third party non-performance, part-performance or delay in performing its
obligations under this agreement letter if the failure or delay arises directly or indirectly from any of the services rendered.

Without prejudice to the aforesaid, upon the occurrence of any of the above events by third party suppliers (such as
restaurants, transportation etc), the Hotel’s shall not be liable whatsoever to you in respect of any loss or damages,
liabilities, obligations, judgments, claims, demands, legal proceedings, arbitrations, assessments, costs and expenses
whatsoever or howsoever suffered or incurred arising from such act.

In order to validate this Contract, and to indicate the company’s acceptance of the above contract rates and
also terms and conditions specified herein, the Operator is required to sign, affix their company’s stamp and returning a
copy within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of issuance.

If The Hotel does not receive the required response by the due date, The Hotel reserves the right to change or withdraw the
contract rates extended without prior notice. Request for rates will then be subject to new considerations.

Kindly validate this contract rate by return sign not longer than 7 (seven) days from date of issue, which after then it will be
deemed null and void.
