“The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.

They
have greatly increased the life-expectancy of those of us who live in “advanced” countries, but
they have destabilized society, have made life unfulfilling, have subjected human beings to
indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffering” by Ted Kaczynski showcases us the
negative impacts of Industrial Revolution towards our human lives.

The Industrial Revolution has brought forth an industrialized society and with this, its effect on
the natural world has been disastrous. In these pictures, it can be seen that the unfortunate
adults, mothers and even kids are forced to live with the effect of industrialization, where the
environment is unsanitary, uncomfortable. Furthermore, we can see the disaster that is pollution
which was brought upon this natural world. Next it can also be seen that the roads have been
flooded with more people, this tells us that people have started moving from their villages to the
towns and cities nearby.

One of the images showed us how an industrial city without proper planning has negatively
affected its residences. Without proper planning, waste management will be a huge problem in
cities, in some cases this can also pose a threat to our health. Next, an industrial city is also
shown to cause extreme pollution. The drastic increase of factories have greatly impacted the
quality of the natural world. The continued development of technology will worsen the situation.
It will certainly subject human beings to greater indignities and inflict greater damage on the
natural world. Migration of people from villages to more developed cities will also affect urban
planning. More people means higher demand for housing and space near those developed
cities, which will cause a congested system.
