INTRODUCTION

Intellectual property right has similar nature of law relating to property rights.
The mode of acquisition, the nature of rights conferred, commercial exploitation
of those rights, the enforcement of rights and the remedies available against
infringement of rights of property and intellectual property are almost identical
in nature.

An intellectual property refers to any original creation of the human intellect


such as artistic, literacy, technical, or scientific creation. It is in the nature of
intangible incorporate property. Intellectual property rights (IPR) obtain legal
rights to the inventor / creator to protect his invention/ creation for a certain
period of time. These legal rights ensure the owner exclusive right to maximum
utilize his invention/ creation for a period of time.
