Company Details :
1. Discover Proficed, a dynamic company involved in 3 core businesses: IT Company, Web Design
Agency and Interior Design Firm. We cater primarily to clients in the USA, offering bespoke
software development services. Excitingly, we are also venturing into three new businesses this
year: IT Training, Print Publications, and Fashion Modeling on our website proficed.com.
2. Currently located in 5 cities, namely Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Gurgaon and Noida, we are

Eligibility Criteria :
1. Fluency in English is essential for this position. Candidates who cannot understand or speak
English fluently should refrain from applying.
2. We prefer candidates who demonstrate a strong intellectual capacity and possess a good IQ. We
are seeking highly intelligent and talented candidates who can excel in their roles.
3. While it is not mandatory, candidates who have achieved a minimum score of 60% in both their
10th and 12th standard examinations, or a minimum of 80% in either the 10th or 12th standard
examination, are given preferential consideration.
4. Proven experience as a video editor, including a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.

Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Edit video footage, including raw footage, interviews, and other elements, to create a cohesive and
engaging story. This involves cutting, trimming, sequencing, and arranging clips to maintain the
narrative flow.
2. Enhance video quality and visual appeal by adding special effects, transitions, graphics, text
overlays, and other elements. Adjust colors, contrast, and brightness to achieve the desired look.
3. Sync audio tracks, remove unwanted noise, and add music, voiceovers, and sound effects to
improve the overall audio quality and enhance the viewer's experience.
4. Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand the project's
objectives, creative vision, and requirements. Act on feedback and make necessary revisions.
5. Organize and manage video and audio files, ensuring they are easily accessible and backed up for
future use.
6. Be proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media
Composer, or other relevant editing tools.
7. Understand video codecs, formats, frame rates, and resolution to ensure compatibility and
optimize video quality for different platforms.
8. Review storyboards and scripts to understand the desired sequence and timing of video clips.
9. Ensure the final video product is error-free, including checking for glitches, continuity issues, and
overall visual and audio quality.

Job Location :
We are a customer of "Awfis," a renowned provider of serviced office spaces with a vast network of
150+ offices across 17+ cities in India. As their customer, we enjoy the flexibility of working from
any of these 150+ offices during the hours of 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday to Saturday.
Although our official presence is currently limited to Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Gurgaon and
Noida, our employees have the privilege of selecting the most convenient Awfis office within these
cities to work from.
While we do have designated private cabins in Ahmedabad (Iscon), Delhi (Connaught Place),
Bangalore (Hebbal), Gurgaon (Unitech Cyber Park) and Noida (The Corenthum), should you join
our company as an employee, you will have the option to work from any nearby Awfis location as
long as you are based in one of these cities.
To identify the closest Awfis office to your current location, simply search "Awfis Near Me" on
Google Maps, and you will receive assistance in finding the most suitable office space.
Salary :
For freshers, the approximate net salary after all deductions will range from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000
per month.
If you are an experienced candidate who is currently not employed (i.e., you have left your previous
job and are actively seeking a new one) or serving a notice period, we will consider offering a salary
equivalent to your last/current salary with a potential increase or decrease of 5% to 10%.
If you are an experienced candidate currently employed and not serving a notice period (and you
plan to leave your current company to join ours), we will provide a salary hike ranging from 15% to
30% compared to your current salary.
Please note that the final salary offered to you will depend on your past work experience,
particularly in the same field as the one you are applying for. Candidates with relevant work
experience are generally offered a higher salary than those with experience in unrelated fields.
It's important to remember that the numbers mentioned above are approximations and not exact
figures. The actual salary offered to you may vary, either exceeding or falling below these
estimates, based on your performance evaluation during the interviews and other selection
rounds.
Job Timings :
Our employees are required to work a weekly total of 50 hours, excluding break hours. To
accommodate individual preferences, we offer three flexible job timing options: (i) 10 hours per
day, Monday to Friday, (ii) 8 hours and 20 minutes per day, Monday to Saturday, or (iii) alternate
Saturdays off, achieved by working 9 hours and 6 minutes per day, resulting in a total of 100 hours
over 11 working days in a two-week period (equivalent to 50 hours per week). Employees can
choose the option that best suits their convenience.
Our employees enjoy the flexibility of selecting any time slot between 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday to
Saturday, to fulfill their designated working hours. Additionally, they have the freedom to take
lunch breaks at their convenience, choosing any time and duration that suits them, as long as they
meet their daily working hour requirements.
Experienced candidates or employees with specific circumstances, such as married females with
children traveling from distant locations, may be eligible for reduced working hours. We
understand the need for flexibility and are open to accommodating deserving employees in such
cases.

while using your laptop for company-related tasks. Please be aware that this policy does not extend
to practical tests. Specifically, you are not required to provide your own laptop for practical tests as
they will be conducted solely on the company's computer machines or laptops.

Selection Process :
1. The selection process begins with two rounds, regardless of the position you are applying for: (1)
HR Interview and (2) Aptitude cum English Test. However, for positions where practical skills can be
evaluated, such as Website Designer or ASP.NET Web Developer, there may be an additional round
involving a practical test. Similarly, for roles like fashion modeling, an audition may be included as
the third round.
2. The Aptitude cum English Test may also include a special section of questions specifically related
to the position you are applying for. For instance, if you are applying for the role of an ASP.NET
Web Developer, the test may have a dedicated section consisting of multiple-choice questions
related to .NET.
3. All the rounds mentioned above are mandatory, except for experienced candidates who have the
option to skip the Aptitude cum English Test.
4. Typically, candidates are required to visit our office only once for the entire selection process. The
entire process, including all rounds, generally takes around 2-3 hours to complete. After the initial
HR Interview, candidates will be provided with an overview of the subsequent rounds. We strongly
encourage candidates to visit our office for the entire selection process.
About Walk-In Interview :
1. Your interview can take place at any of the Awfis locations within the three cities of your choice
from Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Gurgaon and Noida (please refer to the Job Location for more
information). Upon receiving your application, we will contact you to schedule a walk-in interview
at one of the Awfis locations in these three cities.
2. While you have the option to choose any one of the cities (Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Gurgaon
and Noida) for the walk-in interview, the specific Awfis location within the city will be determined
by us and shared with you once we have received your application.
Why don't we conduct online/telephonic interviews? :
There are several reasons why we have chosen not to conduct online interviews.
1. Firstly, a significant number of candidates do not show up online after scheduling the interview.
2. Secondly, if the candidates are sincere enough to show up, they face issues with their internet
connection, microphone, speaker, or webcam. In some cases, candidates don't have access to a
laptop or computer and request phone interviews. However, this is not feasible for us, as we
require candidates to write code during the online interview. Furthermore, even if everything goes
smoothly, candidates may not show up on time for the interview or may appear unprepared and
unprofessional in their appearance.
3. Thirdly, even if they successfully pass the interview, many candidates fail to follow through by not
joining our office after receiving an offer letter.
4. Lastly, we have encountered instances where candidates from different cities request travel
expenses, or in more problematic cases, engage in negotiating for higher salaries despite having
no intention of accepting the job.
5. We firmly believe that online interviewees lack the necessary dedication and seriousness in their
job search. Those genuinely seeking employment will make the effort to attend face-to-face
interviews in one of our offices.

number as the answer that is twice the correct answer. For example, if you want to correctly answer
the question "What is 2+3?"; you should answer 10 and not 5. Similarly, for the question "What is
5*6," your answer should be 60 and not 30, to prove you have read the Job Description word-to-
word. Those who didn't read this Job Description word-to-word till the end won't know this
instruction and answer the question without doubling the actual answer and that is how we will
detect them.

the cancellation or rescheduling, accompanied by evidence substantiating your emergency.
2. Failure to appear for the interview at the designated date and time without providing valid evidence
will be considered unprofessional and irresponsible. Consequently, you may be temporarily
BANNED or permanently BLACKLISTED from reapplying for a position at our company.
3. Additionally, please note that if you fail to show up for the interview without a valid reason, it may
not only affect your standing with our company but also with other organizations within our
network. These organizations may be informed about the unprofessional behavior, potentially
