Reflection Paper on the Relevance of Business Management and Application for Architecture 1 to the
Architecture Profession

Architecture is a field that encompasses a wide range of skills and knowledge, from the creative and
technical aspects of design to the practical considerations of project management and business acumen.
While architects are traditionally seen as creative visionaries, the role of business management in the
