August 17, 2023 - Orientation

On the first day, an orientation is being held at the school, Veritas College of

Irosin. In this orientation, rules are being discussed, explains what NSTP is, and why

is it important. On the following days, we went to INACT complex to listen learn on a

certain topic being discussed by the police officers. One of the topics being discussed

was about drugs, what are the different types of drugs, what are the signs that a person

is using illegal drugs, and what are the effects of it to the people in our society.

According to the discussion, drugs can be classified into three main categories based

on their potential for abuse and dependence; the first one is the depressants, and it has

a moderate level of dependence, next is stimulants which has moderate to high level

of dependence, and the third one is hallucinogens which also has moderate to high

level of dependence. The officer that was discussing said that always seek

professional advice if you have concerns about substance use. After the discussion of

illegal drugs, we went back to school for the awarding/promotion of the new officers.

Next is the civic parade around poblacion. The next activity and discussion were

about trash segregation.


DAY 2: ANTI-DRUGS September 03, 2023, and Inact Speaker: Sir Jazareno and

Other Police Officers

Sunday morning September 03, 2023, at 7:30am, we NSTP- ROTC, LTS and

CWTS students gathered at Inact. To discuss the important information and additional

knowledge regarding drugs that will come from the PNP. It's like awareness about

how to avoid being tempted to use and sell drugs. Learn more about the effects of

illegal drugs or the harm they can cause to us and our bodies.

It started with leading VCI colors to sing the National Anthem. This was

followed by the introduction of the guests Sir Jazareno and other colleagues who will

discuss the said topic. Also included in the gathering were Ms. Maricas and Sir Pepe

to guide us. A lot has been discussed about drugs, effects, disadvantages when we use

and sell. different types of drugs are also mentioned. At around 9am or 10am it was

breaktime. And then continued again.

In the middle of the discussion, new guests arrived causing the discussion to be

interrupted. The navy arrived and before they even greeted, they were introduced.

They mentioned the benefits and various information about ROTC and the Navy.

After that, we were immediately sent back to VCI to watch the Ceremony and to
welcome the new officers to the ROTC. We were invited to witness the event. After

the activity was done, we were immediately sent home.


September 10, 2023

DAY 3 - Earthquake Drill & Fire Drill with BFP (Irosin)

Like the previous activity that was not completed, the said activity will also be

held in Inact. where the accompanying guest is the one who came from BFP. This is

for the safety and awareness when it comes to fire. How to prevent fire. Proper ways

to extinguish and stop the spread of fire. And things that can be a source of fire.

Sunday, September 10 morning 7:30 am the guests Na While we are again the

range discussed important topics. That was a very short discussion, then proceeded to

explain and teach how to use the fire distinguisher. They demoed it so we could

follow it. Around 9am we had a snack and returned to our line. to start another

activity. After explaining what will be done in the next activity. Earthquake drill was

going to be done, so the alarm sounded that there was an earthquake, everyone came

out to do the initial thing when there is an earthquake. The sun was shining outside so

it was very hot, but we kept going. We also repeated many times.

After the Earthquake Drill was conducted, the fire drill was conducted. Were

pinaçabuk ans fire distinguisher. Many of us also tried to get some experience and

learn how to put out the fire. Then we prepared for dismissal. Around 11:30 we were

sent home.
September 2023 Day 4 Topic: Environment and VCI Sunday, September 24, 2024.

It was held at VCI. Here we can talk about the importance of nature. How to

protect nature. Adequate knowledge about nature.

It begins by discussing what nature really is. How can the destruction of the

environment be singled out? It was also taught how we can help to be beautiful and

keep the environment clean. Also taught what to do. Much has been discussed about

the same methods of garbage disposal. Waste segregation is also one of what the

speaker explained.

After a long discussion about the environment. We got ready to go home. A

few minutes later, we were sent home.


(INACT - INACT)

September 27, 2023 - Civic Parade for Irosin Fiesta.

At Inact, one of the activities of NSTP students - ROTC, LTS, and CWTS will

be held. Included in the activity or civic parade are the various schools in Irosin.

Various groups or organizations in the town of Irosin. If the parade is going to be

held, the crowd has already gathered at Inact. And little by little, the comrades in the

parade began to arrive.

Even before starting, we students had attendance. We started lining up to be

seen properly during the parade. Around 8 o'clock the parade started so it was quite

hot. I started late because the others who were going to be with me arrived late. The

parade also stopped because the majorettes from different schools of Irosin also

exhibited.

The civic parade route is also quite far away. Hot but bearable. The parade

took place around 11 o'clock. There are also many people watching on the road. After

the evening activity, we rested and went home.


November 5, 2023 – HIV awareness

In this orientation the very delicate one is the STI and HIV Awareness we

taught how to present a delicate disease that can kill a person from being infected to

others, not to do something that could harm you. And we give us the Five ways to

present HIV transmission which is the Abstinence that bow first about sex, Be

mutually faithful about your partner, Conscience and correct choices also correct and

consistent condom use to avoid HIV and of course always keep hygiene in yourself,

Don't do Drugs and alcohol in this part you must be an active that it cannot be used,

the last one is Educate you know your limit educate yourself be a good inspiration to

others. And we learn the mother to child Transmission which is a pregnancy

Labor/Delivery and breastfeeding.

We gave us to learn the common signs of Bacteria which is a spy hits,

Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and Chancroid this are the kind of Bacteria that should be

avoided and be active against any germs. Be responsible of yourself stay clean and

healthy.

December 27: Gift Giving and Outreach Program "Bigay Lapis Program"

In the previous lesson we plan and talk about having one program. Where it is

about giving a small gift to the children, a chosen school. This is Outreach Program.

This is the Bigay-Lapis Program 2023 Angie Gift Wing and Outreach Program. With

True "Harmony in Giving, A symphony of Synodality and Synergy is a son

programming ita ax This event organized by Officers & by VCI Math Club, NSTP-

LTS Officer and students. It led by Ms. Maricar Ocaña our NSTP-LTS Coordinator

also the VCI Math Adviser. In collaboration with Mr. Jose Miguel Berba of Veritas

College of Irosin through Jeep - Poverty alleviation advocate.

The program began with a prayer followed by the singing of the Philippine

National Anthem. The said Program was held at the Batang Integrated School. Along

with the 86 students who will be given gift school supplies and prepared food: There

are 25 indigent families from Batang, Irosin who will receive gift packs. Greetings
from Mr. Jose Miguel Berba. Various games from the students followed. After the

various games, we fed the children at the same time. It was a bit rainy when the

children were sheltered. After resting for a little while, the game continued again. The

children had fun, as did we.

It ended up being a lot of fun and a lot of memories were made. It feels so good

to help. Besides being helpful, you made the young people happy. There is a trace of

joy and happiness on their lips. It was heartwarming as they thanked. The program

was very successful, tiring but worth it. It was already afternoon, and after that

everyone got ready and went home.
