BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 2024-02


January 28,2024

WHEREAS, Article V, section 1 of the EV Phase 1 By-Laws– Powers and Duties of


the Board of Directors provides that “unless otherwise provided in the articles of
incorporation and this by-laws, the powers of this association shall be exercised, all
business conducted and all of its property controlled and held by the board of directors or
trustees elected from among the members in good standing of this association”;

WHEREAS, Article V, section 1.c of the EV Phase 1 By-Laws; provides that the
Board of Directors shall collect reasonable charges for assessment, and after due notice and
hearing by the board in accordance with the procedures as provided in the by-laws, and
rules and regulations adopted by the board, charge reasonable fines for late payments and
for violation of the by-laws, rules, and regulations of the association, in accordance with a
previously established schedule adopted by the board and furnished to the homeowners;

WHEREAS, the HOA managements shall ensure the continuity of the organization to
ensure that common facilities are operational, and the security and cleanliness is being
maintained within the Eastwood Villa Subdivision;

WHEREAS, in order to ensure the continuity of the operation of the organization, the
following fixed expenditures were identified;

1. Administrative Salary – 8,000.00


2. Security - 24,000.00
3. Volunteer Tanod - 6,000.00
4. Street Sweeper - 6,000.00
5. Electricity -
6. Water Bill -
7. Grass Cutting - 1000.00
8. Monthly Dues Collector - 2,000.00
9. Miscellaneous - 3,000.00
50,000.00

WHEREAS, there are 220 active members of the association, out of the 489
registered members of the organization with an average monthly collection of ______ from
March to April 2023

WHEREAS, the reported average collections are not sufficient to cover the above
proposed expenditures.

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors conducted bench marking on the nearby/adjacent


subdivision as to the amount of their monthly dues which ranges from PhP150-200.

WHEREAS it was agreed during the board session that the following fees and
charges will be collected in order to sustain the operation of the organization in Eastwood
Villa;
