ADVERTISEMENT OF VACANCIES 24/1/2024

The Murang’a County Public Service Board wishes to recruit 20 competent and qualified NHIF
CLERKS to offer services in the kang’ata care health programe:

Muranga county government officially launched Kangata Care health programme, which aims at
providing essential healthcare services and will cover 20,000 vulnerable households.

The NHIF program has the following benefits:

 Comprehensive inpatient care in government hospitals and faith-based facilities


 Outpatient care in contracted health facilities
 Optical and dental care in government hospitals
 Last expense (burial expense) that is: kshs. 100,000 single claim
 For principal member, spouse or child kshs. 50,000single claim for main parent or parent
in law

During the new year festivities, the County Government issued the special NHIF

TERMS OF SERVICE

Casual engagement for a three month term renewable on need basis.


Remuneration; -as set out in the minimum wage guidelines.
Requirement for appointment

 KCSE D Plain and Above.


 Certificate in Computer from a recognized institution.

Note:
Those with post secondary education/training will have an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities will entail:
The casual clerks will be required to undertake the following activities in all county facilities.
 Enrollment of residents under the NHIF,
 Process NHIF claims-filling claim forms, collecting the claim forms and forwarding the
payment.
 Registration of persons over 70 years
 Registration of patients suffering from chronic illness and cerebral palsy
 Registration of pregnant women in the county into NHIF
