• Persuasive writing intends to convince readers to believe in an idea or opinion and to do an action.

• Persuasive writing, is a piece of writing in which the writer uses words to convince the reader that the writer's
opinion is correct.

• Persuasive writing sometimes involves convincing the reader to perform an action.
