The quality of a public water supply, although quite acceptable when it leaves the
treatment plant, may deteriorate before it reaches the user. This may occur as a result of
either chemical or biological transformations or by loss of integrity of the system. Serious
sources of potential contamination arise when nonpotable water enters the system as a
result of cross-connections, back-flow, back-siphonage, or during repairs.
Although it is not the purpose of this report to review the optimum engineering design,
construction, and operation of distribution systems, it is important to recognize that
adverse health effects may result from inadequate attention to any of these areas.
this report contain reviews of the factors and conditions associated with retention of
water quality in the distribution system and the committee's recommendations for
control procedures and future research.
PREFACE
Marketing research is an important part of the syllabus for the student of BBA. The
infusion gets special consideration and is important to the programs as it allows students
exposure to real business life. A person doesn’t learn merely by reading a book on it,
he/she requires to practice his/her hand at learn of it marketing research guides the
students for improving their personality in the business administration and undertalking
regarding the theories of management. Thus theorectical studies is not enough for the
management understanding of the application of management principals.
In this modern word, theoretical study has no value without its practical application

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
It is really the matter of a great pleasure for me to undertake
They enable us to carry clean, potable water wherever we go, ensuring that we remain
adequately hydrated throughout the day. Proper hydration is not only crucial for our
bodily functions but also for our mental clarity and overall well-being. Water bottles
facilitate this by making it convenient to sip and stay refreshed, whether at work, during
exercise, or while traveling. Moreover, water bottles play a pivotal role in environmental
conservation.
The prevalence of single-use plastic bottles has contributed to plastic pollution and
environmental degradation. By choosing reusable water bottles, we reduce our reliance
on disposable plastics, lessening the burden on our planet. It's an acknowledgment of our
collective responsibility to safeguard the environment for future generations.

INTRODUCTION OF PRODUCT
Packaged mineral water bottles have become an essential part of modern life,
offering a convenient and reliable source of clean and safe drinking water. These bottles
serve the primary purpose of packaging and distributing mineral-rich water, sourced from
natural springs or underground aquifers. With the growing concerns about water quality
and accessibility, the availability of packaged mineral water has become a reassuring
solution for many.
These bottles are designed to preserve the purity and quality of the water, ensuring that
consumers can stay hydrated while on the go or in regions where tap water quality may
be a concern. Packaged mineral water bottles are known for their convenience,
portability, and reliability, making them a staple in homes, offices, travel, and recreational
activities. This introduction sets the stage for further details on the history, production,
packaging, and the market potential of packaged mineral water bottles, which are critical
aspects of the product's overview."
HISTORY OF PRODUCT
The history of packaged mineral water bottles is a relatively recent
development in the broader history of bottled beverages. Here's a brief history:
Ancient Origins: The practice of bottling and packaging water dates back to ancient
civilizations, but it was typically for local use rather than mass distribution. Ancient
Greeks and Romans often stored and transported water in amphorae, clay pots, and glass
containers. However, this was not for commercial purposes but rather for personal or
local use.
Industrial Revolution: The industrial revolution in the 19th century saw advancements in
glass production and bottling technology. This made it easier to mass-produce and
distribute bottled water. Mineral water, carbonated water, and soda water all gained
popularity during this time.
Sparkling Water: The concept of sparkling or carbonated water, which was often sourced
from natural springs, became a significant part of the bottled water industry. This led to
the development of soda water and carbonated soft drinks.Plastic Bottles and the Modern
Era: In the mid-20th century, the invention of plastic bottles revolutionized the bottled
water industry. Plastic offered a lightweight, convenient, and affordable packaging
solution for water. This marked the transition from primarily glass bottles to plastic
containers.
Growth of the Bottled Water Industry: With concerns about water quality and
convenience, the bottled water industry experienced significant growth in the latter part
of the 20th century and into the 21st century. Mineral water, along with purified and
spring water, became widely available in various types of packaging, including single-
serve bottles, larger containers, and environmentally friendly options like reusable
bottles.
MARKET POTENTIAL
India's Bottled water market size was valued at $22.72 billion in 2022 and is expected to
reach $36.21 billion by 2030, at a CAGR of 6 per cent from 2023 to 2030, said a report by
GreyViews Research released in January 2023.
Despite the presence of a huge number of small and local manufacturers, this industry is
controlled by multinational corporations such as Parle Bisleri, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Parle
Agro, Nestle, Mount Everest, Kingfisher and Manikchand, among others. According to a
Statista report published in September 2022, the share of Bisleri by Parle in the packaged
drinking water market was 26 per cent in India. In contrast, the share of Aquafina owned
by PersiCo was 11 per cent in the packaged drinking water market
These companies are the trend setters in the marketing of bottled drinking water. Bottled
water market is a symbol of health-consciousness rising in India, especially post COVID-
19. While a substantial portion of the Indian population struggles to get safe drinking
water, in metro cities spending high costs for packaged drinking water is increasing.
"Over the last five years, the bottled water market has grown by 40-45 percent. Higher
disposable income, increasing taste for hygiene, improved price, easier availability of
packaged drinking water and a lack of safe drinking water are driving demand for bottled
water," quoted a report by Maximize Market Research.

India bottled water market will witness a robust growth during the
forecasted period owing to the rising awareness among consumers about
health and bygiene, shortage of clean water in the country and the easy
availability of minaral bottle water in India.
demand for minaral bottle water. Private players have notonly filled the gap
left by the government's failureto supply clean drinking water everywhere,
but they have also built a growing industry.
Water that is packaged in food-grade bottles and designed for human
consumption is referred to as minaral water. Depending on the type of water
offered and the source of the water, there are various sorts of packaged
minaral water bottle .
