Spielanleitung zur Gruppenbildung

Sehr geehrte(r) Kursleiter(in),

mit diesem Spiel möchten wir Ihnen eine Anregung zur aktiven Gruppenbildung für den Unterricht
geben. Sehen Sie diese Spielanleitung daher als eine Möglichkeit, wie das Spiel eingesetzt werden
kann. Wenn Sie andere Ideen haben, freuen wir uns über eine kleine Rückmeldung!

Das Fairway game funktioniert nach dem Prinzip des englischen Happy families oder des deutschen
Quartetts.
Das Spiel besteht aus insgesamt 16 Karten zu:
• 4 englischsprachigen Regionen (New Zealand, Great Britain, USA, Ireland)
• 4 Kategorien (cities – sights – food – famous people)

Vorbereitung
Sie können Gruppen entweder nach Regionen oder nach Kategorien bilden. Je nach Anzahl der Teil-
nehmer und der gewünschten Gruppengröße können Sie alle 16 oder entsprechend weniger Karten
einsetzen, z. B.:
4 Gruppen mit 4 Personen: je eine Gruppe mit 4 Karten zu New Zealand, Great Britain, USA, Ireland
2 Gruppen mit 3 Personen: weglassen von z. B. zwei Regionen und einer Kategorie (Es werden z. B.
die Gruppe Ireland, die Gruppe New Zealand sowie die Kategorie Cities w
­ eg­gelassen.)

Spielverlauf
Jeder Spieler erhält eine Karte. Der Kursleiter gibt an, welche Art von Gruppen gebildet werden
­sollen, z. B. nach Regionen: eine Great Britain-Gruppe, eine New Zealand-Gruppe und eine Ireland-
Gruppe oder nach Kategorien z. B. eine famous person-Gruppe oder eine food-Gruppe.
Jeder Spieler sucht nach seinen Partnern, indem er die anderen Spieler zu ihrer Karte befragt.
Die Karten dürfen dabei nicht gezeigt werden.

Beispiel

% I’ve got a city. Have you got one? % Yes, I have. I’ve got London.

Oder

% I’ve got a famous person. Have you got one? % No, I haven’t. I’ve got a sight/a city/food.

Das Spiel ist fertig, wenn die Gruppen sich gefunden haben.
