COURSE SCHEDULE

wwww.thegraphcourses.org
The COVID-19 crisis made it obvious that epidemic
preparedness remains a burning issue. At the height of the
pandemic, ministries of health worldwide were flooded with
epidemiological data but struggled to draw actionable
conclusions. A dire lack of skilled health data scientists
hindered much-needed rapid response activities.

That's why building dependable systems for epidemiological

resilience must become a priority in the post-pandemic
world. At the GRAPH Network, we decided to take the
knowledge, tools, and expertise we gained during the crisis
and use them to build systems of early disease control and
prevention. By providing state-of-the-art online training
courses in epidemiological data analysis we hope to build a
new cohort of highly qualified epidemiological data scientists.

Become one of them.

Are you a Master's or PhD student in Medicine, Epidemiology, or
Public Health? Or are you a public health professional, policy
maker, or project coordinator? Are you interested in data
science, programming, or statistics but have little to no
experience in the field?

Do you want to:

make better, more informed decisions

have a more profound understanding of epidata
make an impact on a local and global scale
create a successful career path in epidemiology or global
health
become a member of a driven, like-minded community

Then this course is designed especially for you!

WHO WE ARE:

The Global Research and Analyses for Public Health (GRAPH)

Network is a multidisciplinary community of health
professionals and students from over 30 countries working in
the fields of epidemiology, data analysis, software
development, and education.

We were founded as part of a collaboration between the WHO

African Regional Office (WHO AFRO) and the University of
Geneva to support AFRO member states with data
management, analyses, and reporting during the acute
phases of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now we continue our work
within the frame of several projects such as LiteRev,
EpiGraphHub, GRAPH courses, and mathematical modeling for
infectious disease surveillance.
