Zoey sits at the hospital check in desk, holding a bloody cloth to

her forehead, talking the a nurse. Jackie enters, sees her, and
walks over.
Zoey
I am going to need four stitches. I had my last
tetanus shot in April and would prefer a
non-generic antibiotic.

Jackie

Zoey, what happened?

Zoey
There I was, taking a warm shower
on my day off in my new apartment.
And... bam!
Rusty showerhead,
meet forehead.
Forehead, meet
flying showerhead.
I thought I was safe.
But I guess we’re never safe, are we?

Jackie

That's a cut, Zoey. It’s not an existential crisis.

Zoey
Everything happens for a reason.

Jackie
Sometimes that reason is bad plumbing.

Zoey
No, I think the reason is so I could come in here
and ask you about your date.
So how was it?

Jackie
It was nice.
Let's go.

Zoey
You don't want to talk about it?
Fine, that means it was awesome.
