Applications
The Ragger Model W-105 is an accessory unit built to Benefits
remove contaminants that result from pulping secondary
fiber furnishes. It is designed for the optimized extraction
of baling wire, sheet plastic, rags, and other non-pulpable
material normally encountered in waste paper furnish in Smart Engineering

The same hydraulic action that forms the rag tail creates
a washing and wringing action that allows valuable fiber
and water to be returned to the process. A guide roller
positioned at the front of the Ragger works to align
the rag tail for the primary drum and prevents the rag
tail from scraping the side of the Hydrapulper tub and
reduces rag tail breakage occurences.

The Ragger uses timers to set the frequency and duration


of each tail pull. The operating speed of the Ragger can
be adjusted according to the amount of trash in the
furnish to maintain a consistent tail diameter.
