Greetings!

For the previous school years, Angeles City Senior High School and Holy Angel
University already have a strong partnership regarding Adopt-A-School Program that aims for the
welfare of the school and community, especially to our beloved students and teachers.
As part of the Memorandum of Agreement signed by two parties, conduct of seminar is one of the
most highlighted activities that needs to be prioritized yearly as part of the partnership program. With this,
ACSHS would like to collaborate with the School of Computing in providing face to face hands-on seminar
for teachers.
We would like to request a one-day training focuses on utilizing open source website for
Online Examination and creation of Interactive Instructional Material using Open Source
software as well. These requested topics will help enhance the teaching strategies of the teachers
and will support paper less transaction and processing. 21 st century skills of the teachers will also be
improved with the use of Technology.
It is a great privilege if one of your faculty will serve as our speaker on the following date
during our INSET (In-Service Training) on January 24,25 or 26, 2024 8am to 3pm only. Moreover,
we would like to request a computer laboratory that will accommodate the said event on the
preferred date of the speaker.
This one-day hands-on training is under PROJECT TIES (PROJECT TIES (Technology
Integration in Education Seminar by Stakeholders) and Adopt a School Program/ Community
Extension Program. The proposed activity will strengthen the adopt-a-school program and
partnership of ACSHS and the School of Computing.
The training is designed to help the teachers enhance their skills in ICT. Specifically, this
project aims to familiarize teachers in using Open-Source website and software for teaching.
The said program will be participated in by twenty seven (27) ACSHS teachers.

We would be pleased if the School of Computing would accommodate our request. Thank
