COMPUTER TROUBLESHOOTING

1. What are the key concepts that you have learned in this session?

The key concepts that I have learned in this session are: (1) Describe typical software
and hardware problems (2) use troubleshooting tools provided by the operating system (3)
identify common solutions to problems with peripheral devices and (4) get help from online
resources.

2. How can you integrate this in teaching and in the field of

Education?

It is very important that we are knowledgeable enough to fix our computers in case of trouble.
Because a thorough analysis provides optimized solutions that address all the factors that
caused the issue in the first place. There is a systematic approach with some steps including the
identifying of the problem, planning the resolution, its testing, and resolving the problem.
Analysis and experience gained should also be considered. More over troubleshooting is
inextricably linked to inspection process, and sometimes they come together.

3. Make a summary of session either in paragraph or bullet form

 APPROACHES TO TROUBLESHOOTING
(I) To take a logical, systematic approach to identify the source or cause of the problem.
(II) Then apply a solution so that the computer is working normally again.

 THE FOUR STEPS OF TROUBLESHOOTING

(1) Define the problem (2) Identify the possible causes (3) Determine the most likely cause and
(4) Apply solutions.

 Outdated window system

Solution:

 Undo recent great changed

 Check computer hardware
 Boot the computer in safe mode
 Kill the viruses on the computer
 Free up more disk space
 Update hardware drivers
