This study aimed to determine the perceived effectiveness of human resource

management in employees’ productivity. The researchers will conduct this study to

understand if there was a linkage between the Human Resource Management and the

employees’ productivity. Through this research, the researchers will be able to know if

there was an effect towards the way of managing of the employees and their productivity

at work. This research will determine the perceived effectiveness of Human Resource

Management and its connection to the employees’ level of productivity.

Specifically, it answered the following questions: (1) What is the profile of the

respondents in terms of age and, gender? (2) How can the level of performance of Human

Resource Management be described in terms of recruitment and selection, compensation

and benefits, health and safety, labor and employee relations and, training and

development? (3) How can the employee’s productivity be described in terms of

psychological variables, sociological variables and technological variables? (4) Was there

a significant difference on the employee’s productivity when grouped according to their

profile variables? (5) Was there a significant relationship between the Human Resource

Management and the employee’s productivity?

Based on the result of the study, the following conclusions are drawn: (1) The

performance level of Human Resource Management was ‘efficient’ in all aspects of their

work. (2) The majority of the surveyed employees agreed that they need proper training

and conduct seminars to do their job efficiently. (3) Technology needs to be upgraded

because it gives convenient to all employees. (4) Participation was needed in all aspects.

(5) The Human resource can impact the employee’s productivity to their skills, attitude

and behavior. Productivity can see on how efficient him or her to work. Recruitment and

Selection has the highest level of effectiveness in Human Resource Management while

the compensation and benefits has the lowest effectiveness towards employees’

productivity. (6) The Human Resource take care the employees organization on a way

that includes aging satisfied, productive, engaged, and health to their job. Female are

more than male employees. (7) This study focused on employees in University of

Perpetual Help System Laguna-JONELTA, if it has connection between human resource

management and employees productivity. The employees improve in terms of

sociological, psychological and technological by the help of human resource.
