AND OTHER SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN CHAIRPERSONS

SUBJECT : SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN NATIONAL CONVENTION 2019

The National Youth Commission will be conducting the SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN NATIONAL
CONVENTION 2019 on April 26-28, 2019 at Baguio Country Club, Baguio City.

The Convention aims to guide the participants to describe the processes on how to access the SK
Funds; identify the different guidelines and issuances by the Commission and other agencies; propose
possible amendments to the SK Reform Act of 2015; to call for more benefits for our SK officials and
outline the roles of the youth in various nation building initiatives of the national government.

In this regard, all Provincial Governors, Mayors, DILG Regional Directors, DILG ARMM Regional
Governors, and all Local Youth Development Officers are enjoined to support the said undertaking by
directing their respective Presidents of the Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan to attend the
aforementioned national activity. All municipalities, cities, and provinces must be represented in this
national convention

The travelling, accommodation and other incidental expenses shall be chargeable against local
funds, subject to the availability of funds thereof and the usual government accounting, budgeting and
auditing rules and regulations.

The National Youth Commission shall shoulder the AM snacks, lunch, PM snacks, and dinner on
April 26-27, 2019, and shall also shoulder the AM Snacks and Lunch on April 28. NYC shall only cover one
(1) representative per LGU. Further, NYC will not cover any expenses which are not stipulated in this
Advisory.

Please also note that all participants shall wear semi-formal attire on the first day of the
convention, Barong Tagalog/Filipiniana attire on the second day, and semi formal attire on the third day.

For confirmation, Presidents of the Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan should upload
their duly accomplished confirmation slip and a copy of their oath of office through the Online
Registration Forms below not later than April 10, 2019, 4 PM:

All SK Panlalawigang Pederasyon Presidents are requested to immediately disseminate this

Advisory to all SK Panlungsod and Pambayang Pederasyon Presidents under your jurisdiction and
facilitate the submission of their online pre-registration forms. Clarifications or other details on the
