METHOD STATEMENT FOR BUILDING VERTICALITY

MONITORING SYSTEM

1. Points A, B, C & D are the selected survey transferring points for each
tower. See attached drawing for locations. These points are selected by
considering column, wall and beam locations of car park levels & typical
floor.
2. Mark the above points in Level 1 slab.
3. Keep 100x100mm or 100mm dia. sleeve in every slab at relevant points
to transfer the survey points from bellow floor.
4. Grid lines will be transferred to Level 2 floor after casting the L2 floor
slab by using survey points in bellow floor with 1kg plumb bob &
Theodolite machine. Similarly this will be repeated for L2 – L3, L3-L4,
L4-L5 slab levels by using survey points at just bellow floor.
5. Grid lines will be transferred to Level 6 slab by using survey points
marked in Level 1 with using 2kg plumb bob & Theodolite machine. This
will be done reduce the collecting error while transferring the grid lines
floor by floor.
6. Stretch the string between relevant points on L1 & L6 and check the
deviation of marked grid lines on Level 2 to 5 by measuring difference
between string and grid lines with measuring tape. Recorded same on
attached table by surveying Engineer in the presence of QAQC Engineer.
7. Above procedure will be repeated for every 5 floors (Eg. L1-L6, L6-L11,
L11-L16…..etc.) and prepare the report.
