1. "Technology can take the teacher's place in the field of teaching." Do you agree with the statement?

- No, it can't replace the teachers. Yes, technology provides us everything we want to know but it
can't replace how the teacher explains their lessons on their students one by one. Sometimes, word by
word. There are times that what information we got from researching, we still need an explanation.
Teachers can answer and clarify all our queries about the topic. They can be more clear and explicit on
explaining. Teachers not just teach us about subjects but also about lessons in life. They advises us
which will be forever in our hearts that sometimes can be our inspiration. Their words and teachings
can't be replaced by what the technology can offer. Teachers are a lot more better.

2. Compare the different theories as applied in teachnology related teaching.

- Behaviorism learning theory, the lesson gears toward getting the desire outcome in order to
change student's attitude and encouraging them to achieve at the highest level in their learning
expreriences. Second, Constructivism Learning Theory which believed that children can construct their
own knowledge as they participate in every activities. While in Cognitive Learning Theory is on how the
educator's strategies effective to promote student's understanding of materials. In Engagement Theory,
students is meaningfully engaged in learning activities through interaction with others and worthwhile
tasks.

3. Select 5 act of the 11 functions of technology in teaching and explain how are you going to apply them
in your responsibilities as a teacher.

- First is Improvement of Teaching to have knowledge of the different variables of teaching, their
interlinks, effects upon each other, relationships, theories of teaching, phases of teaching, principles of
teaching etc. Second is Enhancing Goals of Education to be able to know the right objectives in the light
of the changed circumstances and environment. Third, Training to teachers because with the new
curriculum and in this generation, teachers are recquired to have knowledge about ICT. The use of
projector enables to move more quickly. Fourth, Development of Curriculum because the right type of
question of developing rights is important to have knowledge about it and the type of curriculum. Lastly,
Teaching-learning Strategies because a strategy play an important role in the hands of a teacher.

These five functions can help me to be a responsible and even effective teacher in the future.
