1. A line PQ 80mm long has its end P 30mm above HP and 40mm behind VP. The whole line lies
in one quadrant. Draw its projections if it is inclined to HP at 30 0 and parallel to VP. Also locate
the traces.
2. A line AB of length 100mm has its end A is 20 mm behind VP and 40mm below HP. The point
B is also 20mm behind VP but 50mm above HP. Draw the projections and marks the traces. At
what distance from B, the line AB penetrates HP.
3. A line CD measuring 80mm has its end C 20mm in front of VP and 30mm above HP. The other
end D is 70mm in front of VP and 60 mm above HP. Draw the projections of the line and find
the inclinations of the line with both the reference planes. Also mark the traces.
4. Draw projections of a line PQ 100 mm long inclined at 35 0 to HP and 500 to VP. The end P is 40
mm below HP and 20mm behind VP. Find the inclination of front and top views with XY line.
5. A line AB, 80mm long has its end A 20mm above HP and 30mm behind VP. The end B is 70
mm above HP and 90mm behind VP. Draw the projections and measure the length of front and
top views. Also find its angle with XY line.
6. The end of a line AB is 20mm in front VP and 20mm above HP. The line is inclined 30 0 to HP
and front view is 450 with XY line. Top view is 60mm long. Draw the projections and find the
true length and inclination with VP. Locate the traces.
7. The FV of a line AB is 500 inclined to XY and measures 55 mm long while its TV is 60 0 inclined
to XY line. If end A is 10 mm above HP and 15 mm in front of VP, draw its projections, find
TL, inclinations of line with HP & VP.
8. Top View of a 75 mm long Line CD, measures 50 mm. End C is in HP and 50 mm in front of
VP. End D is 15 mm in front of VP and it is above Hp. Draw projections of CD and find angles
with HP and VP.
