Womb Clearing

Manual & Workbook

by Lana Dragon-Ivy

1 of 30
Introduction

First off, thank you. Thank you for taking on this womb clearing process. This is important work for us womb
bearers to do. Please read through this entire book to get acquainted with the process and to set you up for the
best possible experience.

Nothing here is intended to replace medical care and assistance. I am not a medical professional and I highly
urge anyone experiencing difficulties of any kind to seek medical assistance. I also know that a lot of people
have not been helped by allopathic, western medicine. It has its limitations and biases.

That said, this work, too, will not be right for everyone.

This protocol has been created as a guide toward an energetic clearing of the womb space. This puts your
experience and your innate wisdom at the centre of this work. It further aims to increase your connection and
relationship to your womb.

Ultimately, by following the protocols as outlined in this book, you agree to take full responsibility for your
experience. The protocol is no substitute for medical assistance but also isn’t intended to be done in isolation of
any other kind of body/mind/spirit work.

While this book is a freely offered gift, if you find value in it, I invite you to contribute, if you can, in any or all of
the following ways:
* share the download page with a friend who may benefit from this work
* make a contribution to me via www.paypal.me/lkevic (no amount is too small or unappreciated ❤ )
* contact me for a personal, one-on-one Womb Healing and Womb Blessing session

Lastly, you are welcome to share from this book but should you do so, please offer the proper credit and link
back to me . Please do not steal this work ~ it is bad for your womb health to do so. Seriously.

The Womb

This work is based in reverence, respect, and acknowledgement of the Womb as our wise healer. Consider that
the womb creates and builds a human. It creates and builds Life - outside of any conscious work on anyone’s
part.

Just as the womb can grow in size to accommodate a baby, it can expand in holding toxic energies and emotions
that may have accumulated over our lifetimes (and even passed down through our ancestors). This, too, occurs
beyond our conscious knowledge but often results in many cycle irregularities, pain, disease, infertility, shame,
guilt, and so on.

So whether you have experienced miscarriage, abortion, or stillbirth, this need for womb clearing and healing is
really applicable to all womb bearers because we all carry, to some extent, shame, guilt, fear, resentment and
more in our wombs.

Most of us have not been taught to speak and listen to Womb. We maybe resent and curse it when it is bleeding.
If we are intentionally and happily pregnant, this might be the only time we feel connected to our womb. If we
can’t get pregnant, or are experiencing other issues, we try to fix it or look for ways to control it.

3 of 30
We begin this journey here on the understanding that our womb is a part of us. It is not an organ that works for
us like a servant. It will not be forced. It will not be manipulated.

We need to begin with a willingness to relate to our womb as a vital and wise part of ourselves that we may
have disregarded and not paid a lot of attention to.

Pause here to take a breath and see how that lands for you.

Preparation

Part I: Starting, Setting, Support

Take a moment right now to close your eyes, take a deep breath, and ask the question:

Who makes me feel loved, safe, and comforted?

What makes me feel open, safe and good when I think about it or see it?

The answers may include people, places, experiences, memories, mementos, pets. It may be just one thing that
comes to mind - that’s more than enough. You can also come back to this sheet and add to it (attach blank pages
if needed). Write it all down here:

Great, we have officially begun! It is vital to take active steps towards a supportive, loving, healing environment
for yourself. This list is one that you are going to build upon and keep coming back to for elevation, clarity,
support, and healing. When you feel challenged or overwhelmed, come back and anchor yourself in what you
captured in this list.

On the other hand, if you’re feeling as though there is too much in life right now that is challenging or hard…I
feel you. Below are a couple of things to do to clear these feelings a bit (and feel free to utilize these whenever
you need to, these are tools to return to time and again).

Option 1: Take another piece of paper (or as many as needed) and do a brain dump. Write down everything that
is troubling/disturbing/ distressing you right now. Nothing is too small or too big. Just get it all out on the
paper.

and/or

Option 2: If you have a good space to do so, and if this is more in alignment of what you need to clear yourself,
freely sound or dance or move or scream as you need to. Move and release the stagnant and stuck energy that
you may be feeling.

Personally I enjoy doing both depending on my mood and intuited needs of the moment.

Personal Sacred Space

Do you have a special, sacred space for yourself in your home?

I often meet women in this work who have long thought about crafting a special space for themselves at home
but have yet to do so whether due to a lack of time, space, or clarity around what they want. Sometimes it is also
a question of doubting they can do it ‘right.’

I understand this. I endured a difficult period in my own life where I felt very constrained in my environment.
Find something that inspires you, uplifts you, makes you feel good. Maybe it’s a gift from someone or a
memento from a special place. Maybe it’s a picture you found on the internet. Maybe it’s a quote that comforts
and soothes you.

Carve out a space for these pieces* (or piece) where you will see them often and where they will serve the
purpose of grounding and comforting and holding you. It can begin with one simple object in one little corner of a
space. This will be your altar where you will do your practices.

More does not equal better. What matters most is the significance of the piece; definitely quality, not quantity.
There is no need to rush this process. Please don’t see it as another task on your to-do list. This is a gift-finding,
pleasure-enhancing thing for you. Be curious and joyful in it, just as you were perhaps as a child encountering
items that pleased and delighted you. No explanations necessary.

(*It could be a blanket. It could be a stuffed animal. It could be flowers. It could be jewelry. It could be a special
card or note that was written to you. It could be a rock you found on a in a place you love. It could be anything.)

What is your ‘Movement’?

What form of expression helps clear stuck, anxious feelings and make you feel better? Said another way, what is
the way you express yourself the most naturally and the most easily? What helps you connect to yourself the
most? Here are some examples of what I mean:

Writing - or journaling can be a way to safely express feelings, move through them, and ultimately understand
ourselves.

Drawing/Sketching - similar to writing above, drawing or sketching or painting may help some of us work
through stress and challenges.

Dancing/Movement - Are you someone who needs to move their body, exercise in some way, when feeling
challenged or misunderstood or having troubles?

Sounding/Singing/Screaming - Some of us need to make noise with our bodies to move through challenges.
This can be difficult as we need a setting and container that is safe and somewhat private. If you have a space in
which to make noise, this may be a good expression to try out.

Is there some other kind of movement for you? What helps you move energy?

9 of 30
Take whatever action may be needed in order to be able to express your movement. This may mean:

buying a nice journal and pen / sketchpad and drawing implements

creating playlists
digging out good clothes to move in
coordinating and agreeing on time and privacy, if you live with other people
locating a safe and private place to sound/move in

What is the way you like to express and move?

What do you need to do in order to be able to ‘move’?

When are you going to do this?

10 of 30
Preliminary preparation is now complete! You have created a safe, soothing nest for yourself. You’ve prepared
yourself for what you may need afterward to move the energies through, and you have one person you feel is in
your corner and who has your back. For me this is someone who I know cares about me and wants me to be
happy. Whether you need to call on them or not, just knowing that someone is caring about you makes a
difference. Truthfully, it’s enough to have a memory of that one person even if they are no longer physically
present in your life.

If you feel you don’t have someone, I am honoured to be this person. I wrote this for you and I am rooting for
you to heal, and feel healthy, happy, and whole.

Practice Guidelines

12 of 30
There are 3 practices we will use in this protocol (they may also be referred to rituals, meditations, and cleanses);
below are the guidelines for working with them. I encourage you to return to these guidelines before beginning
each new practice.

1. Take your time with each practice. It is not enough to do it once. Each one may need to be practiced several
times over several weeks or months (or even longer, seriously). It is not a question of speeding through the
practices and being done or ‘fixed.’ It may be that the first practice, for example, is the only one you need for
a thorough cleansing. But maybe you need to practice it 70 times. The thing is - we are all different in exactly
how and what we have experienced. These practices are an outline, a guide; each person will determine
what they need. Trust that whatever you do, it will be the right thing for you.

2. Set yourself up properly with everything you need before beginning. Turn off your phone, find time alone
where you will be undisturbed, make any advance requests as needed. Set yourself up with the materials
you’ve amassed for this (as per the following checklist). A ‘brain dump’ before doing a practice can also help
you be as clear and present as possible.

3. Commit to a regular practice and put it in your calendar. Three times a week is great; if your schedule and
life allows it, begin with this. Should you find the experience is overwhelming, cut it back to once or twice a
week. If you are feeling the pull to do more, then by all means incorporate some practice 5 or even 7 days a
week. Allow your inner wisdom to guide you. You can always alter as needed.

4. Remember to stay curious and accepting about what you are noticing when doing a practice. Keep your
mind open and free of judgment, free of analysis, and free of evaluation. There is nothing ‘good’ or ‘bad’ that

13 of 30
can happen; there is nothing ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ about how we do this. The most important thing to do is
simply to notice what is showing up.

5. Trust yourself. If you are doing a practice and find an instruction is overwhelming or in some way feeling
painful or ‘too much’ for you, pull back. Return to a point or prior instruction that feels more supportive to
you. At the same time, the nature of this work will sometimes illuminate things that may feel unpleasant.
Discern between discomfort and pain. As in a workout,we will feel some level of discomfort and pain and
this can be good because we are getting fit, we’re growing. But the wrong kind of pain can injure us. So a
similar principle applies here. Some level of discomfort is okay; we need to be able to acknowledge and
digest something before we can release it. It will not always feel pleasant. You are the best judge of what you
are ready to explore in any given moment and what you are not. You have agency here. It is yours to decide.
And you can always come back to a practice at a future time when you feel stronger and more prepared.

6. The first few times of doing a practice, seat yourself either in a cross-legged, easy or lotus pose on a cushion
or the floor. Otherwise sit on a chair with your legs uncrossed and your feet on the floor. Make sure your
arms are uncrossed. Once you have experienced a practice sitting down a few times, try it standing or even
lying down.

Practice 1: Start Here

16 of 30
Practice 1: Gentle Womb Listening

If you have done no prior womb connecting practice, this is a lovely and gentle way to begin. Even if you are
experienced in womb work, start here.

Here the intent is to connect you with your womb. It is the foundational practice and will facilitate a deeper
experience with the cleansing practices that follow. When doing this practice, keep putting your focus on what
feels peaceful and easy.

To begin, prepare yourself as per the previous section and, when you are ready, listen to the recording. Return to
journal here afterwards.

Supportive Practices: Throughout the day, check in with your feet. Are your toes clenched? Are your feet tight?
Take a minute to unclench and relax the feet. Stretch them by a simple pointing and flexing of the toes. Take a
minute to rotate the ankles. Spread the feet and toes over the floor and feel really solidly planted to the ground.
Try to be without your shoes. Stomp on your feet a little bit just to bring your energy and more groundedness
into your body. At night, or whenever it is feasible, give your feet a gentle massage.

Bring your hands to your lower belly and take a few deep breaths into your womb.

If you find yourself feeling stressed, scattered and overly in your head during the day, you might also like to
take a few sighs deep into your belly, exhaling completely and audibly.

Next Steps:
Once you have established a good connection with your womb and you feel ready, move to the next practice.
There are two: one utilizes the water element and the other, the element of fire. In this protocol, both will be
done, however, the sequence may vary from person to person.

Based on my own experience working with women on womb clearing work, most will benefit from doing the
water cleanse practice first. If you have noticed feelings of sadness, grief, anger, resentment then likely this will
be the right place to start for you too (and moving eventually on to the fire practice).

If you are feeling disconnection, and what may be described as a sense of isolation or detachment from yourself
and your womb, you may benefit from beginning with the fire practice (and moving on eventually to the water
practice).

Choose one and see how it goes. Allow your womb to guide you.

Additional Water Ritual & Symbolism: incorporate 1 or 2 of the following as you continue to work with the
water cleanse practice.

* Drink lots of water throughout the day. Set the intention of purifying yourself in this way.
* Take epsom salt baths; if you have a stream or lake or pond that you can swim in, do some rtiualistic bathing
there in nature
* In the shower, visualize or imagine yourself cleaning away from you all that needs to be cleared. Watch it go
down the drain.
* Allow yourself to cry. Sometimes this can happen in settings that we may deem inappropriate. Is there a way
to honour this impulse when it strikes?
* Fill a bowl with water and, in your next meditation or throughout the day, use it to put your sadness and grief
into. At the end of the meditation or the day, when you feel complete, take this bowl of water outside and
‘release’ it into the ground for the earth to re-use.
* Stand out in the rain (if your climate permits) and allow nature’s showers to clean and clear you.
* If you have a menstrual cycle you can utilize the time of your bleeding in this intentional way. As your uterus
swells with its fullness of blood, place your hands on your lower belly and set an intention, or make a request,
to shed with your blood, anything that isn’t yours to hold, anything that no longer serves you or is harmful to
you. Throughout your cycle, feel or imagine yourself releasing these things with your blood.

What are some other ways you are inspired to work with the water element in cleansing and releasing from
your womb?

Fire Cleanse Practice:

With this practice, we seek to cleanse, strengthen, renew, and forge ourselves through fire. This can help us
constructively and creatively engage with anger and reclaim our personal power.

Additional Fire Ritual & Symbolism:
* Experiment with making sounds, even screaming (if your space allows). Allow whatever noise, sounds,
grunts, moans, etc. that want to emerge from deep in the belly
* If it’s wintertime, make a soup. Use any excess energy to fully be present in chopping vegetables, knowing that
you are feeding your own creative fire. Enjoy stirring the steamy pot of soup as tending to your bodily and
energetic home & hearth.
* If you are in a warm climate, find some delicious womb or yoni-esque fruit to enjoy (like papaya, mango, star
apple, etc). Cut it open, admire the colours, the smells, the textures and, of course, the tastes. Feel and take in
the energy of the sun as it’s been absorbed by this wonderful fruit. Feel the powerful, solar energy of the fruit
as it is received in your belly. Be slow and intentional.
* Make a fire or use a tealight or candle to gaze at. You may also like, if it is safe and well-ventilated, to burn
something physical in the fire. Paper can work well; you can write things on the paper to symbolically release
into the fire.

What are some other ways you are inspired to utilize the fire element to cleanse and release from your
womb?

pick 1 or 2 to experiment with at any given time. See what happens.

Further Exploration
Womb cleansing and healing is a continual process. As womb bearers, living in a world that continues to
misconstrue, and degrade the feminine means we will require an ongoing practice of clearing our womb.
Fortunately, once we have established this connection, we can begin to experience this relationship as one that is
fundamental to our lives and brings us deep peace, ease, and joy.

From here, I hope you will continue to find these meditations useful and adaptable for your own particular
needs. I would love to hear about your experiences: lana@sistersawake.org

If, after completing this protocol, you feel you would like to go deeper into some personal clearing and healing, I
am currently available for one-on-one Womb Blessing & Healing. This work can be done remotely from
wherever you are in the world or in person if we are in the same location. You may book with me here.
