Scope of Role
This is an Accounting Associate role with the Economic Capital
team. This team sits within the Capital Reporting area of CFO
and are responsible for the reporting of Economic Capital for
the bank.

The main responsibilities of the role are to:

Role Purpose • Assist with the month-end process including running
reports, controls and calculations
• Help prepare the month-end reporting and
commentary files
• Work with other business areas to test and perform
impact analysis for upcoming project changes
• Involvement in the annual ICAAP process for Economic
Capital

The role requires an awareness of the risks related to Economic Capital and
Applying Control
the execution of the controls that mitigate these risks

This role involves working in a team of 3 within Capital Reporting

People The role requires working with various stakeholders across different areas of
the bank e.g. SCUK, Risk etc

The role requires a basic awareness of how Economic Capital feeds into the
wider bank and how the end-to-end process works
